The world seven time formula one champion Michael Schumacher remains under intensive care following a severe ski accident that happened sometime last year. The doctors placed him under a coma that last about six months until early this year in order to relieve pressure on his brain. Recently, Schumacher was transferred to his residence which is near Geneva, where Corinna constructed a rehabilitation facility with the appropriate equipment just for his recovery from a private clinic in Lausanne. The famous German racer seems to be doing quite well on his long and arduous road to recovery but his manager, Sabine Kehm gave assurances that there has been quite a bit of progress since the racer got out of the coma.

"We would like extend our gratitude to the entire team at CHUV Lausanne for their thorough and competent work. We ask that the privacy of Michael's family continue to be respected, and that speculations about his state of health are avoided," Kehm added. The charming bit of news is that Michael's son, Mick claims that he wants to follow in his father's footsteps to be a formula one racer. He was fresh from the world championships held in Essay, France on Sunday when he stated that taking the lead in the World Karting Vice-Champion for FIA's KF-Junior division is just the start for endless possibilities, formula one of course.

According to a statement that he gave to the press," Of course I am proud of such an important result, but it is also clear that it is my goal to be world champion. This is only the beginning of my career." This is also the final year of which the young protégé is going to be adopting his Mother's maiden name Betsch in world racing competitions. It seems that Mick is growing up and he apparently shows the same potential that his father did. He will probably grow up to be just as good as his father.
