Avril Lavigne Chad Kroeger Divorce News and Rumors: Avril Lavigne Celebrated Her Birthday Without Her Husband, Chad Kroeger, Divorce Rumors the On Air

Rumors have been circulating, since last month, that the couple has not been seen together since April of this year. A source told US Weekly that Kroeger "has been going around L.A. (Los Angeles) telling people that they are divorcing."

Kroeger posted a cryptic message on Twitter, "I've been listening to a couple (of) Fleetwood Mac and Guns N Roses albums recently. RUMORS & LIES ... Too funny - CK"

Avril Lavigne celebrated her 30^th birthday party at Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino with a group of friends which includes her sister-in-law Arnie Lavigne and best friend Caryn Alpert. Lavigne wore a hot pink, mini-dress and it seems that the girls are having a blast.

In the photo, we can also see the girls enjoying a cake that's shaped into a cupcake with a big cherry on top. The source also said that "there's jealousy on both sides. She flirts, he flirts. She's very insecure to begin with." The source added, "Chad is just a complete jerk in the way he talks to her, and the way he talks to people in general. A lot of her friends don't like him."

Kroeger released a statement before, saying that they will not drink without each other - ever. He added, "Even if we're apart for weeks." They also weren't supposed to go to nightclubs without each other, adding that the couple, "doesn't want to go anywhere that you're asking for trouble."

But all of these rules are now broken. The couple met while both were working on Lavigne's album. They then had a whirlwind romance that led to an engagement, after just a month of dating. One year after that, the couple got married in South of France. Lavigne said, "We just bonded like crazy."

When asked about divorce November last year, Lavigne said, "Divorce was never going to be in the cards. We don't like the 'D' word."

As of now, the couple has not confirmed anything. Aside from the cryptic message that Kroeger tweeted, no official statement has been issued. Kroeger statement might have been enough to debunk the rumors, but seeing Avril Lavigne celebrating her birthday without her wedding band and of course without him, added fuel to the fire.

According to several sources, Avril was in good spirits as she celebrated her birthday. She was dancing with her girlfriends, taking photos and of course, taking a bite of her huge birthday cake.
