'Revenge Season 4' Episode 2 Recap: Victoria Grayson Back In Hamptons; Emily's Vengeance Now Brewing
ABC's high-rating psychological mystery series "Revenge" has more thrilling episodes packed with betrayals, returns, and of course, revenge for its avid audience. For Revenge's fans out there, this recap is for you.
"Revenge Season 4" episode 2 opened with Victoria's dream of coming back to the Hamptons and to his husband after being detained in a mental hospital, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Clarke family's matriarch dreamed of being reunited with her husband David. In her dream, Victoria apologized to David after the latter confronted and asked her if she is also the victim of the recent circumstances.
Victoria then admitted that she was not given any choice that is why she betrayed her husband. "I regretted that moment ever since," she said to David. But instead of a positive reaction towards his wife's admission of guilt, David strangled Victoria.
Victoria's dream has been a premonition-like nightmare as she sees herself inside David's van. "David takes her to the place that he, seemingly, has been spending the past 10 years of his life: a small, drab bunker with a homely cot and not much else," as per the same review from EW.
After failing to escape, Victoria was compelled to face the confrontation that she wanted to avoid as much as she could. In the bunker, David confronted her about the recent betrayal that haunted their relationship, the couple's love for each other remains in tacked despite trust issues.
"Revenge Season 4 Episode 2," titled "Disclosure," is also packed with Emily Thorne's big revelation. Hypable reported that the series lead character revealed who she really is to her sister Charlotte. Charlotte has been under drugs after her break-up with Gideon. She planned for a suicide but failed after Emily and Jack saved her.
Moviefone considers Emily's disclosure a big reveal that can surely help in maintaining high ratings for the ABC series. The revengeful woman admitted that she kidnapped Charlotte. Emily also admitted that she is Amanda Clarke, Chalotte's sister, and not Emily. She also showed her infinity scar to Charlotte as she told her that she once tried to commit suicide as well.
Instead of being happy to have a sister to count on, Charlotte "throws another fit and runs after off after she breaks Emily's infinity box," as per the same report from Hypable.
"Revenge Season 4" has more revelations in store as Victoria still kept her secret from his husband. David has no idea that their daughter Amanda is alive. The episode two showed Victoria seemingly trying to persuade her husband to kill their own daughter.
The second episode of "Revenge Season 4" also has a strong closing scene after Charlotte execute a plot that might kill Emily. "Charlotte whacks her on the head and knocks her out. She pours gasoline throughout the bar and lights it up," Hypable reports.
