The ones who are participating can register for the priority access to the alpha on the specific platform.
Evolve was initially planned for release Playstation 4, X Box One and Windows PC in October 21st. The game has since been delayed to February 10 2015. According to Turtle Rock, co-founder and design director Chris Ashton, the developer says that she still has a lot of work ahead of them in the coming months. According to a statement from the director, "The alpha test is not fully representative of the final product, but it's our chance to see what the game looks like in the real world, and we will test again in the open beta for Evolve exclusively for Xbox One in January 2015. If there is a game which has been marketed this hard it is Evolve in terms of gameplay, plot and the graphics that should expect for the next generation consoles. It has even been linked to the release of the White PS4 release by bundling it next to the game as a paired release.
The game plot is based on a hunting party of professional mercenaries in a distant time in the future when humanity has colonized the stars. The game takes place in a planet that is riddled with danger everywhere. As such the hunting party functions as the cleaners and they fight monsters which are also controlled by players. So far the choices for monsters range are between a Gorilla like monster and the Kraken, which is a flying monster that breathes fire.
