Thor 3 Reveals and News: Tom Hiddleston Hints Loki's Death in the Marvel Universe after 2^nd Avengers Film

It seems like there are new rumors surrounding the role of Loki in the third installment of Thor. Apparently, Tom Hiddleston may not be there to play Loki this time round. There are media sites which have speculated that Hiddleston may be leaving the franchise because he recently signed on to play the lead in Legendary Pictures, upcoming installment, 'Skull Island.' This part is the biggest that Hiddleston has ever landed since his role as Loki and we may not want to call it before it actually comes true, but there is a lot of potential for a franchise here. It is pretty obvious that Hiddleston himself has a lot of fun playing the role of Loki but it would be much of a stretch to expect him to pursue something bigger for himself as the lead.

The fans are definitely going to be disappointed if Loki is killed off even though he plays a villain in the Avenger franchise and because he is so good as causing trouble for his brother the Asgardian. The hitch is that we are sure that Loki is going to be back for the third installment of Thor 3 and probably Avengers 2 next year because we saw that he was playing Odin just before the credits as a suspenseful tidbit. Though, we are not yet sure whether it will be the Hiddleston Loki that we have come to love as the infernal troublemaker. I am not sure whether that role is even replaceable because we have adapted each role to a face which we are used to seeing for both the Thor and the Avenger installments.

We could still be wrong though and Hiddleston holds down the installments for both franchises. After all, the rumors back in April were that Thor was going to die. What we are sure about the forthcoming installment is that something cataclysmic is going to happen like Thor losing the hammer almost surely permanently or Loki dying brutally.
