Hemlock Grove season 3 Release Date, Reveals, News and Reports: Canada and season 3 is Expected Sometime in 2015

Horror and science fiction series' are the new kids on the block, popularized by The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and Vampire Diaries viewers are demanding their gore in larger doses. Netflix joined the big leagues with the series Hemlock Grove. The series like all great series is based on a book by the same name by Brian McGreevy. The series began its journey in 2011 when rumors started flying that Netflix and Gaumont International Television were coming together for a series. Hemlock Grove was officially announced in March of 2012. In its first weekend Hemlock Grove got more viewers than House of Cards which is surely the yardstick by which all shows on Netflix are judged.

The series and the book center around a town in Pittsburg called Hemlock Grove whose residents are either really rich or really poor. The town's mill closed a few years ago and the main income earner for the town's people is the Hemlock Acres Hospital and the Godfrey Institute of Biomedical Technologies run by the Godfrey family. Peter Rumaneck and his mother move into town just as a girl is found dead and he immediately becomes a suspect when a girl Christina claims he is a werewolf and he is responsible. On the other side of town a girl falls pregnant and believes that her child's father is an angel. Peter and Roman Godfrey develop a friendship much to the chagrin of their mothers. The deaths continue as Peter and Roman run around trying to find the true killer. There are plot twists that have been added to the series that are missing from the book so it is unclear what direction the series will take based on the book however we can tell you that the child is not conceived of an angel in any way, shape or form and there is another werewolf in town, maybe two.

Cast from season 2 shall be reprising their roles and considering the liberties the show's creators are taking there might be new additions to the story. The show is shot in Canada and season 3 is expected sometime in 2015.
