'Once Upon A Time' Recap: Snow Queen's True Identity Revealed; Robin Confessed Love for Another Woman; Emma and Captain Hook Finally Kissed
ABC's fairy tale drama series' fourth season has freezing episodes that introduced and elaborate new character and featured two kinds of love confession. If you missed "Once Upon A Time" new season's third episode, this recap is for you.
"Once Upon a Time" season 4 episode 3 revealed that Snow Queen, played by Elizabeth Mitchell, will not be Elsa's birth mother, TV Recaps reported. The icy additional Frozen-based character revealed that she is indeed the sister of Elsa and Anna's mother, Queen Idun. In short, she is their aunt.
The newest character addition to the fairy tale series set in the snowy Storybrooke seemed to be the antagonist of the show's fourth season. Snow Queen told Elsa that "Anna trapped her own sister within the magical urn."
It is also rumored that Snow Queen have an ulterior motives that made it possible and she's the one who did that to her own niece, and to her sister as well. Snow Queen, like Elsa, has a power to make and control ice and snow. The queen and her sister appeared to have shared a good relationship that was also ended by the Snow Queen's ice magic.
Celebdirty Laundry also reported that Elsa was being blamed for the icy spell that frozed Marian's heart and made her into a solid block of ice. Storybrooke folks thought that Elsa wanted to kill Marian through her ice magic but they do not know that there is another person who has the same power as Elsa's. It is the Snow Queen who would like to frame her own niece.
Robin Hood tried to save Marian through a true-love's kiss but it did not work, Hollywood Life said. It brought Robin to confess to Regina that the kiss did not work because it is not a true love kiss. He then confessed that he still love Regina.
Regina then said that the ice will eventually freeze Marian's heart and to avoid her death, she ripped her heart out and put it in a box. They will only get Marian's still-beating heart once the spell is broken.
The Snow Queen then admitted that she turned Marian into ice to teach Elsa a lesson. She then trapped Hook and neutralized his power so it will appear the Elsa killed Hook. Emma then appeared and saved Hook and Elsa.
"Once Upon A Time" season 4 episode 3 also showed Hook and Emma's first kiss, and it happened in the street. Emma confessed that she is afraid that she will lose Hook because all her loved-ones are already dead. Hook then assured Emma that she will not lose him. And then they kissed in the street.
The show ended with Snow Queen and Rumple in the woods where Rumple said it is good that Emma was not able to recognize the Snow Queen. Rumple asked the queen if she needs help but she still refused.
