Apple Event on Oct. 16 Latest News, Updates: What to Expect - Apple OS and Mac mini
Beginning of this year 2014 Apple had talked about its latest version of OS. Now the company is organizing a launch event on Oct. 16, Friday. It has already sent the invites to media and press. There would be launch of the new iMac and along with that their new OS X Yosemite will be introduced. It will be available to the customers all over the world. There are certainly many changes in the new Apple OS. OS would be available in a very modern look. It would be easy to use and understand. Company has incorporated new features in this version.
According to the company, Yosemite would be bringing iOS and OS X together. OS X Yosemite will have a flat iOS -style user interface. There will be AirDrop and Continuity features that would allow the iOS 8 users to go ahead with cross-platform functions. This is considered to be next generation OS. It has many graphical tweaks with it.
If rumors are to be believed then Apple might provide its operating system for free to its users for one week after its big launch on October, 16th. Therefore, public can install the software without paying a penny. It ought to be mentioned here that earlier the Apple OS were of the paid version and the free launch would certainly be very appealing to the users.
There are also the rumors that Apple will come up with its Mac Mini on the event launch happening on October 16. It's been two years that Apple has launched Mac Mini. It is Apple's smallest desktop Mac. This version will be a better in performance, as it would have i7 Intel processor.
The design of Mac Mini is revised that will weigh less. The current one weighs 1.22kgs with 19.7 in width and 3.6 in height. The processor of Mac Mini will also be upgraded. Right now it is 2.5 GHz dual core processor. It is also rumored that Wi fi would be upgraded as well.
So the Apple fans are waiting for so many new launches. Other launches from the company in the upcoming year may include Apple TV hardware and the much-anticipated Apple watch.
