Audio Adrenaline was formed by Mark Stuart, Barry Blair, and Will McGinnis in 1986 at the Kentucky Christian University. They were originally called A-180.

Originally signed to Forefront Records, the band is with Fair Trade/Columbia.

AudioA broke up in 2007 after lead singer Mark Stuart was diagnosed with spasmodic dysphonia and had no medical options for treatment. Five years later, Will McGinniss reformed the group with a completely new line-up.

- When the band retired in 2007, they had achieved 18 #1 hits and had sold over three million records.
- AudioA has won two Grammy's for Best Rock Gospel Album - one in 2004 for Worldwide and one in 2006 for Until My Heart Caves In.
- In 2003, Mark Stuart and Will McGinniss founded the Hands & Feet Project, a non-profit ministry in Haiti.
