    Scandal's New Season, New Characters Going In And Old Ones Are Now Saying Goodbye

    Fans around the world, all are very excited about the start of the upcoming season of Scandal. Past reports asserts that the show's new season is surely to premiere with a huge time jump, as said by Shonda Rhimes, creator of the show. Rhimes attested that Scandal's fourth season will be Abby's season. It was said that a huge chunk of the season will revolve around Abby. Loads of what is revealed and seen about Abby's back story will happen as people relate to her story. It was additionally clarified that the new season happens to be more Olivia-driven, which gives the spotlight to series actress Kerry Washington (who was also exceptionally pregnant in the previous season!) Buzzing gossips of new cast members are now starting to preoccupy fanatics' minds. Possibly pregnant Portia de Rossi might reportedly join the upcoming season, but her part has yet to be unveiled. Another noteworthy spoiler is that Columbus Short's end of contract with the show is already confirmed. How things will end for his character in the game plan is yet to be revealed. Because of the confirmed departure, Olivia's firm will unquestionably have one less trial lawyer for now. And with Columbus Short not returning anymore for next season, bits of gossip has surfaced about another character—preferably "African-American" and is said to be a legal counselor in his 30s or more—to replace him in the show. Scandal's new season is set to debut on the 25th of September this year.

    Fantastic Four Finally Done, New Movie Won't Be Like Previous Adaptations

    Even though it's still untitled, Fox's most recent live-action film adaptation of Marvel's very own Fantastic Four comic book arrangement has a confirmed release date already, and a few spoilers are now spilling out. The movie is supposed to be a transitioning film for the junior Fantastic Four. If that is the case, then this adaptation will definitely be unlike the 2005 version. Fans ought to expect that the motion picture will be less exaggerated and explosive as the previous variants, especially since this new film will bring these phenomenal four superheroes back to their small beginnings. Doctor Doom's doombots are said to be emphasized in the film, and there's a possibility that this could dispatch a crossover with the X-men motion pictures. This will supposedly exist in the same universe as the X-Men films which means it could happen later on to give the studio its own particular adaptation of The Avengers. Putting all this information aside, the affirmed arrangement of cast for the film is as follows: Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Franklin Storm, Kate Mara will act as the Invisible Woman, Jamie Bell as The Thing, Miles Teller will be portraying Mr. Incredible, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, and Toby Kebbel as the evil Doctor Doom. Current reports name Josh Trank as its director while Simon Kinberg and Matthew Vaughn will take a shot at the screenplay. The Fantastic Four is planned for release on June 19, 2015 while a spin-off is being prepared for summer 2017.

    Terminator: Genesis slated for 2015 release featuring an Aged Terminator, a star studded cast and The Rock

    Terminator fans should start gearing up. Despite the bankruptcy issue and production hiatus problems, Annapurna Films and Skydance Production will be bringing the fifth installment of the infamous movie series. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role. He will be joined by a star studded cast such as Game of Thrones start Emilia Clark (Sarah Connor), Jason Clarke (John Connor), Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese), Dayo Okeniyi (Danny Dyson) and Byung-hun Lee (T-1000). It was reported that the film will be revisiting scenes from previous Terminator film such as ones on 1984 in The Terminator, 1991 in Terminator 2: Judgment day and several events in the Connor family’s lives. It was also revealed in an MTV Interview last March 25 2014 that Schwarzenegger will be portraying an Aged Terminator. He further shares that this is canon in the film because though the robots are made out of metal, their skin is still human-like. In addition to that, there has been stories floating about that there will be two new T-800 robot one under the control of Skynet and the other against it. There have also been talks that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be taking in the torch as the new Terminator in the upcoming movie, as said by some sources, that one script is being tailored to accommodate the rising action star. Filming is set to roll at the first quarter of 2014 under the wing of Thor 2 director Alan Taylor. It has been targeted for release on July 2015. Whatever it may be one this is for sure: this reboot will be awesome.

    Revenge Season explores Emily’s True Identity, The Return of Someone Thought Dead and more plot twists you wouldn’t imagine

    If you thought the last season was intense, wait until you get to season 4. Yes, Revenge season 4 has been green lighted and definitely the plot thickens. We are all familiar of Emily Clarke’s story, an orphaned girl vowed to get back at the Graysons who killed her father – or so she thought. Yes, David Clarke is alive and this spells a 360 degree turn on everyone favorite anti-hero starting with Aiden’s death which was the setting point at the episode finale of the third season. In addition, the show’s creators have confirmed that they will be adding two new characters. One of these characters is planned to Emily’s new potential love interest and the other, so far named as Louise, is speculated to be associated with Emily’s past. The biggest plot twist was the revelation that David Clarke is alive. How do you think Emily, who has been doing this revenge spree in his name, and Victoria the former love that caused all of this, would react once he comes into play? It was also suggested that there is a possibility that father will turn on his own daughter if Victoria comes to him first. Much more, how is David not dead? Things are starting to get complicated and interesting, don’t you think? One thing is for sure, season 4 will be something one should look out for. Revenge Season 4 will be aired on September 28 in ABC.

    Spider-man 3 To Be Launched in 2018 With Spidey Audiences Enjoying a Spinoff “Sinister Six” Movie in 2016; New Characters, New Plot Twists Are Speculated

    Are you a Spiderman fan who’s waiting for its next comeback? Since the showing of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 this year, news spread that the viewing public still has to wait for four long years to witness another action-packed Spider-Man movie with new characters and plot twists set to be released in 2018. This new date has been announced at Comic Con on July 23 as an update to the previous speculations that Spider-Man3 will be released in 2016. However, fans need not worry as a spin-off movie, “Sinister Six”, will be released in 2016 with Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) in combat with six villains that have first appeared in 1964 in Marvel Comics. The “Sinister Six” will be composed of the Green Goblin/ Harry Osborn (played by the very familiar Dane DeHaan), Doctor Octopus, Electro (Jamie Foxx), Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, Mysterio, and Vulture. Electro, who is supposed to be declared dead in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have its retaliation in “Sinister Six”. But will he succeed? Other speculations also said that Spider-Man 3 might also cover how “Venom” came into being but it’s not really the main focus of the story. Speculations of Felicity Jones as “Black Cat” playing as one of the villains have also circulated. The list might change and other characters might be added, however, such changes are yet to be announced. Spider-man 3 is said to be a kind of closure to Peter Parker who lost his girlfriend, Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone) in The Amazing Spider-man 2. If this could be true, then it is designed to appease the frustration of moviegoers who hated the tragic ending in Spider-man 2.

    Ubisoft’s “The Crew” racing to PCs, Xbox One, PS4 and video consoles by November 11, 2014 – plus Spoilers and News!

    The Crew, the open-world racing game developed by Ubisoft, will be available for PCs, Xbox One and PS4 beginning November 11, 2014. The game’s main concept is to get players together and team up for racing battles against other crews. A racer playing solo can play for as long as 20 hours, with the objective of penetrating underworld syndicates. A maximum of 8 gamers can team up and race. Fans of the game can expect larger-than-life worlds, faster loading times, better graphics, and more advanced mechanics for a more adrenaline-pumping experience. What’s more, cool customizable options have been added to The Crew; cars can be built for off-road driving, street racing, or pro-racing conditions. This feature is especially appealing to real-life car enthusiasts and players who are looking for a game that’s not just about speed. Ubisoft is inviting users to test drive The Crew for a limited time before they open it up to the public through closed beta website; but with the site generating a lot of traffic, players may be in for quite a wait.

    The third and probably final installment in the highly successful Night at the Museum comedy film franchise is scheduled for release to theaters starting December 19, 2014. Entitled Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Ben Stiller will reprise his role as Larry Daley, a night watchman at the American Museum of Natural History where exhibits magically come to life at dusk on account of the power of the Golden Tablet of Pharoah Akhmenrah. Directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay written by Robert Ben Garant, David Guion, Michael Handelman and Thomas Lennon, Night at the Museum 3 will follow Larry as he travels the globe in search of a way to somehow recharge the waning powers of the mystical Egyptian artifact for the sake of his night time friends at the museum. Larry will proceed to the Egyptian wing of the British Museum to find answers. Director Levy tells USA Today, “We go to the British Museum in the second half of the movie because that is where the answers lie. It's not because it felt like time to get on an airplane.” In London, they will unravel the secret of the tomb of Akhmenrah’s father, the Tablet’s creator. In his trip to London, Larry will bring along his friends Pharoah Akhmenrah (Rami Malek), President Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher), Sacagawea (Mizuo Peck), Jebediah (Owen Wilson) and Octavius (Steve Coogan). At the British Museum, they will meet Akhmenrah’s father (Ben Kingsley) and Sir Lancelot (Dan Stevens). Others in the cast of Night at the Museum 3 include Rebel Wilson as a museum security guard, Skylar Gisondo as Larry’s son Nick, Ricky Gervais as Dr. McPhee, Rachel Harris as Madeleine Phelps, Dick Van Dyke as Cecil Fredericks, Bill Cobbs as Reginald and Mickey Rooney in his final movie performance as Gus. The 93-year old Rooney finished his scenes for Night at the Museum before he died on April 6.

    Walt Disney Pictures’ Into The Woods, which will hit theaters beginning December 25, 2014, is a film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning Broadway musical of the same name which in turn was based on some of the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tales, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. Directed by Rob Marshall from a screenplay by James Lapine, the film follows the journey of a baker and his wife who wish they could have a child. Their condition, they learned, was caused by a curse from a witch, and to undo that curse they must go into the woods in search of certain things they were told they must find. In the woods they encounter and interact with Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, Rapunzel, Cinderella and other fairy tale characters. James Corden plays the Baker with Emily Blunt as his Wife. Meryl Streep is cast as the Witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as Cinderella’s Prince, Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Lilla Crawford as Little Red Riding Hood, Daniel Huttlestone as Jack, Tracy Ullman as Jack’s Mother, Christine Baranski as Cinderella’s Stepmother, Mackenzie Mauzy as Rapunzel, Billy Magnussen as Rapunzel’s Prince, Tammy Blanchard as Cinderella’s stepsister Florinda, Lucy Punch as Cinderella’s stepsister Lucinda, Richar Glover as the Steward, Frances de la Tour as the Giant’s Wife, Simon Russel Beale as the Baker’s father, Joanna Riding as Cinderella’s mother, and Annette Crosby as Little Red Riding Hood’s Grandmother. The all-singing film production will retain Sondheim’s music and lyrics for the Broadway musical along with two additional new songs, of which one is entitled “Rainbows” and another is something which he wrote particularly for Streep’s movie character. The film will however not be entirely faithful to the play. For instance, unlike in the play, Rapunzel will not die in the movie, and the Prince will not sleep

    The word is out that the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 smartphone will be launched sometime in September 2014, after alleged images have been seen online. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is one of the most sought-after smartphones to be released this year, along with Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5. Challenging phablets from competitors such as Lenovo and Huawei, the Samsung Galaxy Mega series has been well received for delivering excellent specs at an affordable price. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will reportedly have a 5.9-inch screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, ideal for viewing photos and videos. This is somewhere in the middle of two earlier models – the 5.8-inch and 6.3-inch versions. However, leaked images indicate that the screen may go up to 7 inches. What’s more, it will also have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat OS (most likely to be upgraded to the Android L OS), a 12 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera, full HD video, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, GPS, light and proximity sensors, and NFC.

    Final Fantasy XV currently on the works and is expected for release by March 2015, will only be available for XBOX One and PS4

    Fans of the Final Fantasy game had found themselves disappointed when the Final Fantasy XV failed to show even a bit of a sneak preview at the San Diego Comic Convention as well as at the E3 convention. It felt like forever had already passed since the last Final Fantasy game hit the market and the company’s CEO have nothing but hopes of patience for the fans. According to CEO Yosuka Matsuda, they are still in the process of figuring out when to best leak a preview for the fans. It is something that they need to carefully plan and execute in order to meet fans’ high expectation. According to a freelance writer who was able to talk with the game developers, the latter made it clear that they will not be making a PC version of the anticipated game. Instead, the game will only be available for XBOX One and PS4. Game producer Shiniji Hashimoto has once mentioned in an interview that the game development is going really well. He also assured the fans that there will be a preview and promotional materials for the game, just not in the next few months. Needless to say, when the senior analyst of Square Enix said that they are expecting low demand on game sales this year, we are almost sure that the game will be launched next fiscal year. Knowing Final Fantasy, it is just impossible to get a low number of demands of the awesome game. There are even rumors that it might be released some time March 2015.

    Snow White and the Huntsman sequel to concentrate on Chris Hemsworth’s character as The Huntsman – and apparently Snow White won’t be around!

    The plot behind the movie, Snow White and the Huntsman is an interesting tale that twisted the way we knew our fairytales. Well, we never knew that the Huntsman was such a dashing and hunky fellow. The movie has reportedly earned a smashing $396 million at the box office. Hence, the studio had been planning how to make a sequel following the favorable results at the box office. Their verdict, cut Snow White out of the film, and focus solely on the handsome Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman. Yes, you read it right! Kirsten Stewart is out of the next movie. The title of the next film is “The Huntsman” which is basically a prequel to the story of the Huntsman. In the movie, we will be able to get to know him better, his tortured tale of losing his family. Charlize Theron’s Raveena will be accompanying Hemsworth in the movie, and it is a great chance for us to see how they play off each other. With Snow White out of the equation, the franchise will be given a fresh start which may even result to more movies in the future. The director of the movie, Rupert Sanders, will be replaced by Frank Darabont, the director behind the “The Walking Dead” series. Darabont has also been nominated for an Oscar as a director of “The Shawshank Redemption” and “The Green Mile”. At least we know that the next film is in very good hands and there would be unexpected twists to watch out! The film will make its way to theaters come April 22, 2014.

    The Mexican holiday Day of the Dead-inspired 3D computer-animated film “The Book of Life” produced by Reel FX Creative Studios and distributed by 20th Century Fox will begin showing in theaters on October 17, 2014, in time for Halloween. Directed by Jorge Gutierrez based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Doug Langdale, the romantic comedy and adventure movie tells the story of a young toreador named Manolo, a man “who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart. Before choosing which path to follow, he embarks on an incredible adventure that spans three fantastical worlds where he must face his greatest fears.” The film stars Diego Luna as Manolo, Zoe Saldana as Manolo’s love interest Maria, Channing Tatum as Manolo’s rival for Maria’s affection, Joaquin, Christina Applegate as Mary Beth, Ron Perlman as the spirit Xibalba, Kate del Castillo as the spirit La Muerte, and Ice Cube as the Candlemaker. Others in the cast include Eugenio Derbez as Chato, Danny Trejo as the skeleton Luis, Ana de la Reguera as the skeleton Carmen, Gabriel Iglesias as Pepe Rodriguez, Cheech Martin as Pancho Rodriguez, Anjela Johnson as Adelita, and Hector Elizondo as Manolo’s father Carlos Sanchez. Regarding the upcoming film, director and co-writer Jorge Gutierrez in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter said, “The mandate of this movie was: Our 'Art of' book is going to look exactly like the movie. And every artist poured their heart and soul into that idea... All my favorite albums, all my favorite books and films, they are all personal stories that take place in a very specific culture but that are universal. So I wanted to make something that happened in my family, but make it for the world." More recently, at a panel discussion at the San Diego Comic-Con, he said, “The original inspiration was my grandfather when I was a kid and gave me the words ‘never let the truth get in the way of a good story.’ It kind of became what this movie is about. It’s a recipe book of all the tales I’ve heard, and serving it now to the world.”

    HORRIBLE BOSSES 2: Movie Spoilers, Release Date, Trailers, Teasers, Cast News, And More!

    New Line Cinema’s Horrible Bosses 2, the sequel to 2011’s box office hit comedy Horrible Bosses, will be shown in theaters beginning November 26, 2014. Directed by Sean Anders from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Morris, the upcoming film will see the three good but often misguided friends - Nick Hendricks, Dale Arbus and Kurt Buckman – finally deciding to go into business on their own, fed up as they were with their horrible bosses. Unfortunately, a sly, unscrupulous investor soon wrests control of their newly-formed company. With no other recourse left, the three carry out a plot to kidnap the investor's son so that they can ransom him to get back their business. Of course, as in the first film, they end up getting themselves in worse trouble. Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis will be returning to reprise their previous roles as Nick, Dale, and Kurt, respectively. Two of the three horrible bosses from the original film will also be seen again in the sequel. Jennifer Anniston will once more be portraying sexual predator Dr. Julia Harris, D.D.S. while Kevin Spacey will again be playing psychopath CEO David Harken. Jamie Foxx will also be returning as Dean “Motherfucka” Jones, the ex-con who acted as the three friends’ “murder consultant.” In the sequel, two new villains will be introduced – the rich and cunning investor who takes over the trio’s new company, to be played by Christoph Waltz, and his adult son whom they intend to kidnap and hold for ransom, to be played by Chris Pine.

    EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS Movie Spoilers, Release Date, Teaser, Cast News, And More!

    The 20th Century Fox-distributed Exodus: God and Kings, the latest film adaptation of the biblical epic, will begin screening in cinemas on December 12, 2014. Directed by Ridley Scott, the film stars Christian Bale as Moses and Joel Edgerton as his Egyptian stepbrother Ramses II. As written by Steven Zaillian, Bill Collage and Adam Cooper, the movie’s storyline explores the conflict and struggle between these two leaders in the Hebrew’s fight for freedom from the yoke of Egyptian slavery. As told in the Old Testament’s Book of Exodus, an Israelite orphan named Moses was raised by the Egyptian royal family as one of their own. Eventually however, Moses was chosen by the Hebrew God to lead the 600,000 enslaved Israelites out of Egypt and to deliver them to their Promised Land. Others in the cast include Aaron Paul as Joshua, John Turturro as Pharoah Seti, Ben Kingsley as Nun, Sigourney Weaver as Moses stepmother and Egyptian Queen Tuyo, Maria Valverde as Zipporah, Indira Varma as Miriam, Hiam Abbas as Bithia, Kevork Malikyan as Jethro, and Anton Alexander as Dathan. The all-white casting for the lead roles is currently the object of much online protest. Though the events in the film took place in Egypt, white actors have been cast to play clearly non-white roles. Fans have taken to Twitter to join the #BoycottExodusMovie movement to show their disappointment with Hollywood. Ryan Harding of Sojourners observed, “...Throughout the history of European imperialism and colonialism this type of indoctrination was present. Depictions of white only Biblical figures (including prophets, angels, Jesus, etc.) were intentionally used to subconsciously indoctrinate the false belief of white divinity (and therefore superiority) upon the minds of the oppressed and conquered.”

    Star Wars 7 Cast Spoilers: Benedict Cumberbatch and Simon Pegg to possibly join the most anticipated intergalactic epic franchise!

    The grapevine has been rife with speculations as to who would be in the next Star Wars movie, “Star Wars 7,” which is scheduled for release on December 18, 2015. “Sherlock” star Benedict Cumberbatch has hinted that he might be in this movie. “J.J. and I are friends, so yeah, possibly," he said in interview. “J.J.” is “Star Wars 7” director J.J. Abrams. Cumberbatch has also mentioned “Mission Impossible” stars Simon Pegg’s involvement in the project. Pegg’s appearance on the movie’s Abu Dhabi set seems to have added legitimacy to rumors. While Pegg has yet to make an official statement, he has said that if ever he does appear in “Star Wars 7,” he will barely be recognizable, thanks to CGI magic. Another possible addition is Jesse Plemons of “Friday Night Lights” and “Breaking Bad” fame. He is one of the actors being considered for the role of Ben Skywalker, Luke’s son. “Star Wars 7” features franchise veterans Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker. They will be joined by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o, and Gwendoline Christie. “Star Wars 7” is set to take place 30 years after “Return of the Jedi.” This will be the first installment of the third “Star Wars” trilogy. The cast and crew are currently shooting on location in the island of Skellig Michael, Ireland.
