    HP gears up for more tablets

    We’ll be seeing more of HP in the tablet arena as the company is set to roll out the mid-priced HP Slate 8 Plus, Slate 10 Plus, and HP 10 Plus in the next few months. Although reports state that these are allegedly rebranded tablets developed by Chinese electronics company Huawei, specs will prove that these will be solid gadgets to look out for. The smallest tablet among the three, HP Slate 8 Plus’s 8-inch IPS display will have a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It will be equipped with a 1.6GHz Hisilicon Kirin 910 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Although internal storage will be limited to 16GB, the MicroSD card reader will resolve space constraints. HP Slate 8 Plus will be Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ready, and will be able to support 3G data. The aluminum housing adds to the tablet’s sleek look. Basically a bigger HP Slate 8 Plus, the HP Slate 10 Plus will have a 10.1 inch display and a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Its HiSilicon quad-core processor is complemented by 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a MicroSD card reader. Users can stay connected with the tablet’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE capabilities. The HP 10 Plus, on the other hand, will have a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution IPS display, a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, and 2GB of RAM. Other features include a 7700mAh battery and 2-megapixel and 5-megapixel camera options.

    GoPro HERO 4 out this October

    Adventure junkies have something to look forward to – and save up for – as GoPro Hero 4 will be released by October this year. Light and compact, GoPro cameras are a favorite of extreme sports enthusiasts as these cameras can be easily attached to gear such as bikes, surf boards, ski poles, kite boards, helmets, and more. Plus, these comes with a tough, waterproof housing and a flat lens ideal for shooting underwater footage up to 60 meters in depth. The GoPro team has fine-tuned features fans have loved for the newest model in the family. The GoPro HERO 4 has 4K video capabilities and can shoot at 30 frames per second (twice faster than the GoPro Hero 3+). A 13 megapixel photo sensor and wider aperture lens will make low light shooting a walk in the park. Other features include multi-exposure and HDR WDR tone mapping, electronic image stabilization, and an improved MCTF.     More smartphone options coming your way

    Looking for other options aside from the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime? No problem – more smartphones will be vying for your attention this year. Hot off the factory is the Nokia Lumia 930, which was just launched this month. One of the more durable smartphones in the market, the Nokia Lumia 930 has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20MP rear camera. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and is equipped with enterprise services such as mobile device-management (MDM) support, Outlook, and Office 365, which makes it an ideal business tool. Sony Xperia Z3 is in the pipeline, as the electronics giant continues on its quest to capture a big portion of the smartphone market. Speculations abound that it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a superb camera. Expect to hear more about this phone come September 2014. Motorola’s Moto X2 is expected to be out in the market by the end of the year. Leaked pictures reveal that it will have a similar design to its predecessor, Moto X. It will reportedly have features such as touch-free control, active display, 2GB RAM, a Super AMOLED screen, a 64 GB internal memory, and MicroSD functionality, all at a competitive price.

The fate of their beloved characters have been hanging in the balance almost all throughout that episode. Clark, Monty and the others are being held in Mount Weather while Ark came crashing down to Earth and Jaha seems to be trapped in space. So many things have happened and we demand answers to the questions circling our heads. Thus, we asked, what awaits the viewers on Season 2, and here is what we got so far. If there is one thing that we are certain of is that there will be a lot to be revealed about the Grounders when the show returns to us this fall. We will also get to know more about the relationship between them and the 100. They will also be touching ground about the relationship of the Native Americans and of the 100. We don’t know how that will turn out, but we are sure excited to find out.

    ARROW to hit its target this October 2014

    Starling City’s dark hero is soon to return to our small screen for a more action-packed story line filled with exciting new twists. Its lead star Stephen Amell who plays the role of Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow had been recently active in the social media world, teasing out fans about the third season of the show. During a Facebook interview with the star, he was kind enough to give the fans some clues on what they could expect when the show returns on the fall of 2014. He has even hinted that his alter-ego might just be getting a costume upgrade. We wonder as to whether he will have other cool gadgets as well to help him with his dirty heroic deeds. As for the romance, many are wondering if Oliver and Felicity will be back together. Unfortunately, everyone’s lips are sealed when it comes to that particular aspect. What we do know is that both characters will be in a good place next season. Nightwing and Flash have been rumored to be going to make an appearance on the show, but that remains something we are yet to figure out. It has also been said that Felicity might just make an appearance on the show ‘Flash’. Talk about a crossover that we wouldn’t dare miss. Malcolm’s character played by John Barrowman has also been promoted as a series regular, which could mean a very juicy storyline for our hero’s younger sister, Thea. Arrow will be hitting its target on October 8, Wednesday on CW.

    Klaus Mikaelson returns this October with the second season of "The Originals"

    Get ready to mark your calendars as one of TV’s high-rating science fiction reality show ‘The Originals’ is set to return on CW on October 6, 2014. When the show comes back for its second season, the characters of the show are in for quite a treat as they will soon be facing a new villain. Joseph Morgan, the actor behind “Klaus” has even tweeted that this fall will be having a “Mikaelson" Monday, and we are beyond ready for it. The Originals was actually a spin-off from the high-rating series, The Vampire Diaries which focuses on the original family where all vampires and hybrids have originated. Phoebe Tonkin, the actress behind the character of “Hayley”, mother of Klaus’ child has hinted to the fans that her character is off to the dark side. According to her, her character will be very damaged and broken to the point that is already heartbreaking. Another source tells us that there will be a shift on the focus of the show. It will only be vampires that will be the stars of the show. Later on when the show returns, it will be more on the side of werewolves, with a plot being woven on this very particular matter. If there’s one thing we learn from this series as well as the others, it is that the dead never really stays dead. Sometimes, the dead goes back to life, sometimes they seek for revenge, and make the story even more interesting. So keep your eyes peeled for the undead.

    The latest live-action film adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough’s “Tarzan” will have True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard reprising the title role. Others confirmed to be in the cast include Margot Robbie as “Jane Porter,” Christoph Waltz as the Belgian villain, “Captain Leon Rom,” Djimon Hounsou as “Chief Mbonga,” Samuel L. Jackson as ex-mercenary “George Washington Williams,” and Osy Ikhile in a key supporting role. The Warner Brothers production of the movie, which will be in 3D, is being directed by David Yates (of Harry Potter fame) based on a screenplay written by Stuart Beattie, Craig Brewer, John Collee and Adam Cozad. Cinematography will be done by Henry Braham and editing by Mark Day. Shooting started June 30 this year. The film is scheduled for release to US theaters on July 1, 2016. According to the plot summary, Tarzan will have already taken his place in civilized British society as John Clayton III, the Lord Greystoke. He will also have already been married to Jane. He will be invited back to Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament. There, while investigating suspicious activities at a mining camp, he realizes that he has become a pawn in a deadly game of greed and revenge that is being orchestrated by Captain Rom. Tarzan will then team up with the former mercenary Williams to rescue the proverbial damsel in distress, serve justice jungle-style, clobber the bad guys and otherwise save the day. As is expected, there should be non-stop action.

The uploaded clip went viral, and now, as revealed by WetPaint, we will see in the reality show’s next episode that Benzino wants to share in the limelight by having their pictures grace the cover of his magazine - “Hip Hop Weekly.” Mimi went to Benzino’s office about the offer and asks for $ 10,000 in exchange for allowing her picture to be used in the cover. Benzino refused, telling her that he has the right to use a photo of her and Nikko for the cover of his magazine, without getting their permission and without having to pay them. Mimi replied, “You could and I could sue the s**t out of you. I will tie up your magazine so crazy because I do have lawyers, so you can do that if you want.” The drama continued. Benzino stood his ground and told Mimi he is going to do it anyway. Mimi asked, “You’re telling me that’s what you’re going to do if I don’t agree to do your cover?” Benzino replied, “You leave me no choice.” Mimi, before storming out of the office, countered, “I leave you no choice? Cool. Talk to my lawyer.” Benzino shouted back, “You have choices – a choice of what dress to wear, because you’re going on this motherfu**** cover.” And that’s where that segment of the show ended. Other dramas involving other cast members, especially that one between Joseline Hernandez and her husband Stevie J, will unfold in that episode to keep us fascinated with the Love & Hip Hop ATL brand of “unscripted” reality show entertainment.

    Eminem’s 18-year old daughter with ex-wife Kimberly, Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan on June 8. She was also a recipient of her school’s Academic Excellence Award and Department of Psychology Award. Last year, she was crowned homecoming queen at her alma mater. She is set to attend Michigan State University to pursue a degree in psychology or entrepreneurship. Hailie Jade was Eminem’s (real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III) muse for his “Hailie’s Song” in the “The Eminem Show” studio album and for his “Mockingbird” in the “Encore” album. Both Eminem and Kimberly attended their daughter’s graduation. They were also there last year when she was proclaimed homecoming queen, although the renowned rapper tried to remain as inconspicuous as he could. In her school’s newsletter, under the caption “Most Influential During My Lifetime,” Hailie wrote, “My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have.” Eminem and Kimberly have married and divorced each other twice. They married in 1999 and divorced in 2001. They remarried each other on January 2006 and again divorced barely four months later. Eminem and Kimberly have joint custody over Hailie. During her high school years, Hailie was a member of the National Honor Society, the Art Club, the Key Club, and the Student Council. She was also a volleyball player.

    Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: Joseline Hernandez Claims Stevie J and Benzino Started Reunion Brawl

    “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” regular Joseline Hernandez took to Instagram to air her side of the story regarding the massive brawl during the taping of the reality show’s reunion special. According to her, the fight, for which she’s being blamed, erupted following a heated argument between her husband Stevie J and their co-star Benzino over an affair with Althea Heart. It seems a picture of Benzino and Althea who were in the nude and having sex was posted on Stevie J’s Twitter page. Others in the cast who were there during the taping said the commotion started after Benzino kidded his then best friend Stevie J doing drugs on the set with Joseline. While security guards managed to hold Stevie J at bay, Joseline managed to sneak an attack on Benzino’s fiancee Althea. From that point, all hell broke loose. It was free for all. The moment one melee was stopped by the guards, another more violent one involving other cast members soon followed. That is, until the cops and the paramedics finally arrived. At least three people were administered first aid treatment. Mimi Faust reportedly had to be even brought to the hospital. Apparently, Stevie J held Mimi down while his wife Joseline was attacking her. In any event, the disrupted taping for the reunion special will be resumed today. The cast members will be filmed in separate areas and, this time, for safety reasons, there will be no live audience.
