The original director, Lynne Ramsay, walked out on the first day of shooting. Then original lead actors Michael Fassbender, Jude Law and Bradley Cooper one by one followed suit. Fortunately, the film still has the lead star Natalie Portman who is also a co-producer in the project. Natalie Portman plays the character Jane Hammond, the Jane in the title. Compared with his other work Elysium, according to Movie Pilot , Blomkamp described Chappie as "a fundamentally more simple story, a comedy, a heartfelt story, in a science fiction setting." In an earlier talk with Empire, he said “District 9, Elysium and Chappie were all born out of some visual concept first. Chappie is the imagery, because I think I’m a visual person first, of this ridiculous robot character. It’s much more comedy based, and in an unusual setting.” Filming for Chappie started October 2013 and ended this February. The first promo banner for the film was unveiled at the halls of Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego.

I have all these wire hanging off of me....Brad is a really good guy with a wild imagination. If I don’t screw it up it will be a great film. You have to be careful what you say because everything is top secret, so I don't want to ruin it by telling you that everyone dies in the end. Oops, I’ve said too much." But of course, everyone knows that Clooney is a habitual prankster.

Independence Day Sequel [Not One But Two Planned], Release Date, Spoilers [Set 20 Years After Independence Day 1], Teasers, Cast News [Will Smith Won’t Be In!], And More

Two sequels for Independence Day, the 1996 blockbuster hit sci-fi movie about an alien invasion of earth, have been planned to form a trilogy. The new films would be titled ID Forever Part I and ID Forever Part II, according to director and co-writer Roland Emmerich, and they will be filmed back-to-back. In fact, 20th Century Fox, has already announced that ID Forever Part I is all set for theater showing on July1, 2016, almost exactly twenty years following the release of the original Independence Day movie. Emmerich and co-writer Dean Devlin, who also acts as producer, have already finished writing the scripts for the two sequels. In an interview last year with Entertainment Weekly, Emmerich revealed that the sequels will take off twenty years following the liberation of earth from the first wave of alien invaders. This time another wave of alien forces is poised to attack. “The humans knew that one day the aliens would come back. And they know that the only way you can really travel in space is through the wormholes,” said the director. The script for the first sequel has already been turned over to Carter Blanchard for polishing and rewriting as part of the pre-production process. Asked about the plots of the sequels, Emmerich revealed that “the first one ends on a little success, but only enough to give the humans hope. And then in the second one, they free themselves again.” Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman have confirmed that they will be returning to reprise the characters they played in Independence Day. However, ‘Capt. Hiller’ won’t be seen in ID Forever I and II because Will Smith declined the role which first established his name as a bankable movie star.

James Bond 24 Movie Release Date, Spoilers [Spiced With More Humor, Gags?], Teasers, Cast News, And More

The 24th installment in the spy film franchise series that is based on Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels is slated for theater release on October 23, 2015, in the UK and for November 6, 2015, in the US. To be simply called “Bond 24,” the new movie will again be directed by Sam Mendes, the director responsible for the blockbuster Skyfall, arguably the best Bond movie ever. The Skyfall screenwriters John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade will also be back to do the Bond 24 script. And of course actor Daniel Craig will be returning to reprise his character as James Bond. After minor delays caused by script rewrites, production is all set to begin by December of this year. The movie’s producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, are reportedly already scouting for shooting locations in Morocco, Austria, and Rome. Bond films are known for their extensive use of scenes which take place in various places of the globe. Bond 24 may not immediately be taking off from where Skyfall left off. As Sam Mendes, in an interview at the Charlie Rose Show which aired on Hulu TV, puts it, “What we tried to do, and audiences seemed to embrace in Skyfall, is that for the first time, characters were allowed to age. And they were allowed to acknowledge – in a kind of a sly, mischievous way – the history of the franchise that they’d been part of.” So in Bond 24, can we expect the characters to age even more? Regarding the new Bond movie, Daniel Craig in a talk with Vulture said, “Hopefully we’ll reclaim some of the old irony, and make sure it doesn’t get pastiche. I can’t do shtick, I’m not very good at it. Unless it kind of suddenly made sense...” He may however have to brush up on his comedic timing. The rewritten script reportedly now carries more gags and witty repartee between his character and Miss Moneypenny and M. Aside from Craig, the other confirmed members of the cast so far only include Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw.

Pebble Steel Smartwatch: Still Not The Smartest Smartwatch, But It Is The Best-Looking And Most Wearable Smartwatch In The Market Today

The new Pebble Steel smartwatch is the “best smartwatch so far” says David Pogue of Yahoo Tech. And Eric Limer at Gizmodo agrees with that verdict, in addition noting that “Pebble Steel manages to be your most wearable option...it’s also the prettiest by far. Pebble beat Apple to making a gadget that is actually jewelry.” Pebble Steel though is basically still the same original 2013 Pebble smartwatch but with a new, more elegant makeover look. It has the same open-source Pebble OS v2, the same 1.26-inch 144x168 e-paper display, the same scratch-proof gorilla-glass coated screen, the same LED backlight, the same layout for the 4-button interface, the same ARM Cortex-M3 CPU, the same 130mAh battery with 5-7 day life, the same waterproof capability as the original plastic Pebble. Pebble Steel has the same level of functionality as plastic Pebble. What differentiates the new Pebble Steel from the original plastic Pebble smartwatch is just that its smaller and tighter case is crafted in marine grade stainless steel and it ships with both leather and metal watch bands. In fact, it now seems that Pebble Steel was not really meant to totally replace the $150 plastic original. Instead, it’s intended to be marketed side by side with the original as a classier, more presentable, less gaudy alternative. At its slightly higher price of $249, Pebble Steel can be worn by those who have to go to business meetings and fine dining restaurants. Pebble Steele comes in two finishes: brushed stainless steel or matte black. It began shipping January 28

The Killing Season 4: The Final Season; Just Six Episodes And Its A Wrap-Up For The Show!

The Killing will be returning to your TV screens on August 1 thanks to Netflix. The serial crime drama was twice canceled by the AMC network before the on-demand Internet streaming media provider came to the rescue with a six-episode order for this year’s final run. The series which premiered on April 3, 2011, was critically acclaimed and was well-received by the viewing public for much of Season 1. However, the “who killed Rosie Larsen?” plot was certainly not enough to sustain viewer interest on the show for three entire seasons. Fans who began feeling cheated by the seemingly never-ending investigation on the Larsen case turned to the social media to air their disappointment with the US version of Denmark’s “Forbrydelsen.” AMC canceled the show first in July 2012 but agreed to give it another go for a third season. On September 2013, AMC again canceled the series. However, the series cliffhanger of an ending to “The Road to Hamelin,” the last episode aired for Season 3, got the fans wanting for more. So, In response, Netflix ordered six episodes making up the entire fourth season that will all air on August 1 to tie up all the loose ends. Mireille Enos, the lead actor in the show, playing Det. Sarah Linden, when asked about the turn in events, told Toronto Sun that “What’s most helpful to me is to take the pieces that are positive and then turn a blind eye to everything else. So I’m mostly just grateful we had an audience base and we were doing the kind of kind of work that would warrant people to keep watching.”
