TEKKEN 7 Release Date, Could Be Soon on PS4? Astounding Details and New Game Trailer Revealed At San Diego Comic Con

Highlights of the forthcoming Tekken 7 fighting game were presented by Katsuhiro Harada, Game Director and Chief Producer of the ‘Tekken’ franchise of Namco Bandai, at yesterday’s Comic Con panel discussion in San Diego. Speaking through a translator, he said the plot for Tekken 7 will have a “very detailed background story” and will include a conclusion to the Mishima clan saga. It will provide answers to issues that are hanging in the minds of fans, like why is Heihachi trying to kill his grandfather and why did he throw Kazuya off the cliff, what is the Devil Gene and how did it get into the Mishima gene pool, among others. He confirmed that Lars from Tekken 6 [Bloodline Rebellion] will be returning. “We’re still formulating the basic gameplay systems and polishing them,” said Harada although he did reveal that Tekken 7 will carry one-on-one rather than team-based battles. The highly anticipated Tekken 7 game was first unveiled on July 13 during the Evolution Championship Series fighting game tournament in Las Vegas complete with a trailer clip featuring Kaszuya and Heihachi. The soon to be released Tekken 7 game will be powered by Unreal Engine 4 by Epic Games. According to Harada, “With Unreal Engine 4, we could rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platform and go beyond it. Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it allows us to immediately bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire.” So does it mean that Tekken 7 would be coming anytime soon on Sony’s PS4? It may still be too early to say. Harada hasn’t mentioned any definite release date yet, despite this year being marked by fans as the 20th anniversary of Tekken.

“Star Trek 3” Released 2016, Kirk to Go Dark, Enterprise to Go Back Where No Man Has Gone Before? These And Other Related News Bits, Teasers and Spoilers!

Paramount Pictures is aiming to have Star Trek 3 ready for release by 2016 to make it in time for the 50th year anniversary of Gene Roddenberry’s franchise original TV sci-fi classic. Robert Orci will be directing the film. The lead cast actors in the two previous Star Trek movies are all expected to return – Chris Pine (Kirk), Zachary Quinto ((Spock), Zoe Saldana (Uhura), Karl Urban (McCoy), Simon Pegg (Scotty), John Cho (Sulu) and Anton Yelchin (Chekov). In the next installment, we may see Kirk having to battle it out with his own internal demons. As Chris Pine observed in an interview with Total Films, “Well, for anybody that’s seen [Star Trek 2, aka Into Darkness], given the fact that Kirk’s been revived by Khan’s blood, I think there’s definitely room for Kirk to go dark, which we’ve obviously seen in the original series...” Kirk did went dark in the original series so there’s a possibility that this could happen again in the next film in the reboot version. This next Star Trek film will incidentally be the last in Pine’s three-picture deal with Paramount for the franchise. Writer and Director Orci confirmed to Variety that “In this movie, they are closer than they are to the original series characters that you have ever seen. They have set off on their five-year mission. So their adventure is going to be in deep space.” In the original TV series, remember that the five-year mission of the U.S.S. Enterprise, as voiced over in the opening sequence by William Shatner, is: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before. So die-hard Trekkies have really much to look forward to this time around. Aside from Orci, the job of writing the screenplay will be shared by Alex Kurtzman with Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz. Star Trek 3 will be Orci’s directorial debut. He took over from J. J. Abrams, the director for Star Trek 1 and 2 in the reboot, who is still busy directing Star Wars Episode VII. Abrams will remain as producer in Star Trek 3.

Daniel Radcliffe's new movie “Horns” is wrenching, vulnerable and emotionally naked

“Horns,” the dark fantasy thriller which premiered during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, will finally be shown in US and UK theaters on Halloween, October 31. Directed by Alexandre Aja based on Joel Hill’s novel, it tells the story of Ignatius ‘Ig’ Perrish, a young relatively well-off young man whose life was shattered and turned inside out by the rape and murder of his sweetheart Merrin Williams. He was the only suspect in the crime. While he was never proven guilty, neither was he cleared. In the court of public opinion, he used his parent’s wealth and influence to get himself off the hook. He became a pariah in the community. He became increasingly despondent. He could have gotten a mental breakdown. Instead, he found himself growing a pair of horns. He also developed a strange power to control other people, powers he will use to find his true love’s rapist and killer. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe of ‘Harry Potter’ fame as ‘Ig.’ On Radclife’s reprisal of the character, author Joel Hill said it is a “wrenching, vulnerable, emotionally naked performance that isn’t like anything he’s ever done on screen before. He is such a wonderful Ig Perrish.” Others in the cast include Juno Temple as “Merrin Williams,” James Remar, Sabrina Carpenter, Heather Graham, Kelli Garner, David Morse, Joe Anderson, Max Minghella, Kathleen Quinlan, Alex Zahara, Michael Adamwaite, Desiree Zurowski, and Jared Ager-Foster. The role of ‘Ig’ was originally intended for Shia LaBeouf, but he declined. The one-minute teaser trailer which was uploaded to social media sites starts with a voice over of people accusing ‘Ig’ for the rape and murder of his girlfriend over a scene showing a mob outside his house with a sign that says, “You will burn in Hell!” We are also given quick shots of ‘Merrin,’ followed by shots of a crying ‘Ig.’ This is followed by an audio of ‘Merrin’ screaming over a shot of a newspaper in the trash with a large, bold caption reading, “Is This the Face of the Devil?”over the picture of ‘Ig’ in the headline. Finally, we see a shot of ‘Ig’ sitting with a snake wrapped over his shoulder. In the background, we hear Radcliffe’s voice saying, “No one is born evil, but sometimes when you go through Hell, the only way out is to walk deeper into the fire.”

‘Terminator: Genesis’ Movie Spoilers: Arnie Drops Hints

“Terminator: Genesis,” the fifth installment in the Terminator film franchise, will see Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 model body’s aging. And it will be moving back and forth in time. Terminator 5 may not be a total reboot after all, as it may involve his character revisiting events in the earlier Terminator 1 to 4 movies. In a talk with MTV, the former Governor of California said, “The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath. It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages...Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800...” In another talk with Kpopstarz, the 66-year old action star said there will actually be two T-800 robots, a younger one controlled by Skynet, and an older one which will be reprogrammed to help in the fight against Skynet. Aside from Arnie, others confirmed in the cast include Emilia Clarke as “Sarah Connor,” Jason Clake as “John Connor,” Jai Courtney as “Kyle Reese,” Dayo Okeniyi as “Danny Dyson,” Courtney B. Vance as “Miles Dyson,” Aaron Williamson as a “T-800,” Byung-hung Lee, J.K. Simmons, Matt Smith, Douglas Smith, and Sandrine Holt. Direction is by David Ellison based on a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. Paramount Pictures has set the release date of the Skydance Productions for July 1, 2015. Rumors have it that Paramount may reveal additional details about the forthcoming Terminator 5 movie during this week’s Comic-Con in San Diego. If so, we can expect more spoilers within the next few days.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Trailer: Finally, A Glimpse At How E. L. James’ Book Will Look On Screen

E.L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy has sold over 100 million copies worldwide and has been translated in 51 languages. No wonder that even the release of the first official trailer to the much anticipated film adaptation of the first installment in the erotica series gets top billing in most entertainment news. The movie itself is scheduled to hit the theater screens by February 13, 2015, in time for next year’s Valentine’s Day. The much talked about trailer was featured in Thursday’s episode of NBC’s The Today Show. Running at two and a half minutes, it reveals in quick succession scenes beginning with the initial meeting between Anastacia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) and Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dorian), to the development of their mutual attraction to each other (i.e., the helicopter ride, the elevator scenes), until finally to the entry to the secret chamber with the whips, blindfolds, handcuffs, and other SM-bondage fetish props. The trailer played out against a remix version of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” soundtrack. Johnson and Dorian were both present during the screening of the trailer at The Today Show. Asked about what it was like during the filming of the steamy scenes, Johnson said, “It’s not a romantic situation. It’s more technical and choreographed.” And Dorian added, “That’s a big part of it...having trust. Because, you know, we got ourselves into situations that don’t feel that sort of natural, and they’re not that easy and you need to have the trust there.” “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the movie, wrapped up production early this year. It was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson based on a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel with Patrick Marber and Mark Bomback. There will be two versions of the movie – one, a “Rated-R,” for the mainstream audience, and another, an “NC-17,” for the die-hard fans of the explicit erotic novel.

“Fantastic Four” Reboot Movie Spoilers: More Grounded and Real World

Though still officially untitled, Fox’s latest live-action film adaptation of Marvel’s Fantastic Four comic book series already has a confirmed theater release date, which is June 19, 2015. It also has a confirmed cast which includes Miles Teller as “Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic,” Kate Mara as “Susan Storm/Invisible Woman,” Michael B. Jordan as “Johnny Storm/Human Torch,” Jamie Bell as “Ben Grimm/The Thing,” Toby Kebbel as “Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom,” and Reg E. Cathey as “Dr. Franklin Storm.” Directed by Josh Trank based on a screenplay by Simon Kinberg and Matthew Vaughn, the Fantastic Four reboot will be a coming of age movie for the young superheroes. In an interview with ScienceFiction, writer and producer Kinberg revealed, “We’re treating this as the origin of the Fantastic Four so in future movies you’d have them on sort of splashier adventures to some extent, but this one we tried to ground the science as much as possible and make it feel like it could take place in our world before it cantilevers into other worlds.” He also said, “It’s a much more grounded, gritty, realistic movie than the last couple movies.” The new movie was earlier rumored to be based on “Ultimate Fantastic Four,” a separate Marvel version with a more modernized imagining of the long running comic series which has a younger set of heroes with a different origin as to how they got their super powers and which is set in present day New York City. However, in an interview with Latino-Review, Kinberg clarified, “...this Fantastic Four movie is sort of a celebration of all Fantastic Four comics that have preceded it...We have elements from the original Fantastic Four...We also owe a lot to the Ultimate’s and the current crop of Fantastic Four comics and you’ll see that...It’s really sort of inspired by all the different history of the Fantastic Four comics...There isn’t one comic that defines the movie”

The Avengers battles Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Ultron in the highly anticipated return of the Avengers hitting theaters on Labor day 2015!

Avengers: Age of Ultron, the sequel to 2012’s “Marvel’s The Avengers,” will push earth’s mightiest superheroes to the brink of their limits. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director and writer Joss Whedon said, “With the first ‘Avengers,’ everybody pretty much had the power to punch somebody. And now we have a woman who can get inside your head and move objects, and a boy who can move faster than anything, and a robot who can replicate and is out of his mind. So all of a sudden, it’s a darker, weirder, tougher world that they’re living in.” The woman who can get inside people’s head and move objects with her will is Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) while the boy who can move faster than anything is her fraternal twin Quicksilver (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson). The crazy robot who can replicate is the Ultron (played by James Spader) in the movie’s title and who ironically was created by Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) himself to help out in restoring peace and order following the destruction of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a result of the mayhem witnessed in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” To complete his team of baddies, Ultron created the Vision, a solar-powered synthetic humanoid who can fly, discharge energy beams and alter his body’s density. Interestingly, the Vision will be played by Paul Bethany who was the voice actor behind JARVIS, Tony Starks’ own AI assistant in “Iron Man 3.” So what is Ultron’s agenda? In a sequence of the film, according to Screen Rant, Ultron during his own launching party, told the members of the Avengers, “I know you’re good people. I know you mean well...but you just didn’t think it through...There is only one path to peace...your extermination.” Aside from Downey, we can expect Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Cris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson to return and reprise their original roles. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” will be available in theaters by May 1, 2015.

With “Expendables 3,” story writer Stallone aimed for and finally got a PG-13 from the Motion Picture Association of America. The previous two films in the franchise were both rated ‘R.’ Stallone said he wanted his script this time to be more humorous. During the Cannes Film Festival, he also told reporters, “We want to reach as many people as possible. It’s very close to an R, believe me, it’s right there. But I think we owe it to the next generation. We thought we’d join that club for a while.” Directed by Patrick Hughes from Stallone’s screenplay, “Expendables 3” sees Barney Ross (Stallone) pitted against his former co-founder Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson) in The Expendables, a private company made up of elite mercenaries which can be hired by the CIA for off the books missions. Ross thought he had killed Stonebanks, who had become an arms dealer. But Stonebanks survived, and now wants revenge on Ross and his entire crew.
