YouTube & Jamie Grace Celebrate International Women's Day
Beloved Pop Princess Contributes Exclusive Video for "Daughter of the King"
Jamie Grace, pop princess extraordinaire, is celebrating International Women's Day with YouTube. Today, celebrating International Women's Day, YouTube is showcasing women who empower women.
The popular singer/songwriter/speaker/actress/reality-star is featured on the home page of YouTube with an exclusive video release of the song "Daughter of the King," by special request from the popular video site.
Filmed at the YouTube Space in Los Angeles, CA, the video was produced and directed by Jamie Grace and her sister, Morgan Harper Nichols.
Jamie Grace expounds on the video and how it came to be, saying: I knew they liked the song, "Daughter of the King," so i invited some friends and fans to be a part of the collaboration. I asked them to finish the sentence 'My worth is not found in ____' or 'My worth is not defined by ____.' We had such an incredibly diverse group of women sharing their stories about self esteem, family, race and so much more. Women shared in English, Armenian, Spanish and Shona (tribe in Zimbabwe) saying "I am a daughter of the King" and what that means to them. It was truly an incredible experience. My sister Morgan Harper Nichols and I recently launched our production company, Harper Sisters Entertainment, and we're so honored to share this song and video."
Jamie Grace's latest release, 91, is available online through digital retailers. In an article recently with Faithwire, she announced her engagement to Aaron Collins. You can read that article HERE. Jamie Grace and her sister Morgan Harper Nichols are currently appearing on the reality tv show, Relative Race, available on BYUTV.
