Radiohead's New Album: Release a Bit Sketchy though Band Members Confirm they will be Back in the Studio by the end of Summer
Radiohead's last album: King of the limbs was three years ago and it seems like they are back in the studio for another one which will be their ninth: confirmed by the band. Johnny greenwood, the band guitarist spoke on the BBC 6 Music's Mary Anne Hobbes Show stating that they will start playing, rehearsing and recording to see how it sounds. There have been some rumors after he hinted that the group is regrouping for another album release. It is reported that the group is going to get together at the end of the summer which is within the same time period as hinted by the band guitarist.
However, Jonny's brother Colin Greenwood, implied that the plans for the ninth album were up in the air as the group members have all been pursuing side projects after the much deserved official duty break after finishing the tour. The group took a break after completing tours for 2011 King of the limbs and has since been keeping quite busy. Radiohead singer Thom Yorke and producer Nigel Godrich had also spent the break collaborating on other projects with the group 'Atoms for Peace' for example. Philip Selway who is the band's drummer has also been working on his second solo album which is slated to come out in October reportedly.
Greenwood stated 'we are low-moving animal, always have been. I guess we'll decide then what we do next." Despite the bands go slow mode due to their various individual commitments they did manage to share a brand new project: an app called "PolyFauna." Apparently this is an experimental collaboration Radiohead and U.K. digital design studio Universal Everything
