Bowen Abel Puts Their Signature Touches to "The Old Rugged Cross"
Bowen Abel has just released their unique rendition of the hymn "The Old Rugged Cross." Bowen Abel comprises of Charleston based husband & wife duo, Nathaniel and Bethany Perea. Bowen Abel is named after their son who passed in May of 2019.
As for their new single, the duo write, "It has blessed our hearts more than we could have expected and we hope it blesses your hearts as well. We have been praying that this new version of an old classic will carry the spirit of revival with it and fall afresh on each listener. This song was a beautiful challenge for us, and we are so so proud of where it landed. Hope you all enjoy!!!"
"The Old Rugged Cross" is the first of a series of new songs the couple plan on releasing this year. They continue, "We set a goal of releasing at least 5 new songs (maybe more! ) for you guys this year!"
However, Bowen Abel needs our help in terms of making these new songs. "The only down side to producing great music is that its not cheap. If you have been blessed by our music or feel lead to support us, would you consider donating to our fund? Your support would mean the world to us! Even if you can't donate, if you could share this link that would be amazing! We love you all and are so very excited for what is in store!"
