The idea as to offer a summer sale on her website came about while Keaggy was reading her Bible. This is what she has to say: "Feeling the strain of a lean summer financially, I felt the Lord's prompting to offer this deal after reading the story of the widow's oil in 2 Kings, Chapter 4. Elisha asked her, "How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?" Just a little oil. He instructed her to go and ask her neighbors for lots of empty jars and to pour her oil into the them. She kept pouring and pouring and when all the jars were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another one." But he replied, "There is not a jar left." It was only after every last jar was filled that the oil stopped flowing. She was able to pay her debts and she and her sons lived on what was left..."
"When I read that story, the phrase that stood out to me was, "What do you have in your house?" And I knew God was speaking. Modern day translation: "Cheri, what do you have in your garage?" Ha! The answer was clear. CDs! I've got CDs. That day I took an action step and asked Rose, my website gal, to drastically reduce prices in the webstore. My daughter helped me film a little promo video, and we were off and running. It has been my joy to sign and send CDs all over the country. And I am praising God from Whom all blessings flow..."
