Assassin's Creed 5 Rogue Release Date, Reveals and Spoilers: Game Developers to Provide Different Versions for New Generation Consoles- X Box One and Playstation 3
Ubisoft has confirmed that the worldwide release for Assassin's Creed: Rogue is set for November 11th this year for the following platforms including X Box 360 and Playstation 3. As such, the same reports indicate that the game will not be available for consoles like Playstation 4 and X Box One which is supposedly getting a new game called Assassin's Creed: Unity this year. It just seems like the developers want to differentiate the game versions as much as possible to illustrate the gaming experience for PS4 and that of PS3. Ubisoft Sofia producer Ivan Balabanov spoke at the gameson convention about the Unity game and clearly stated the game is for the next generation consoles specifically.
Apparently, the technology of Assassin's Creed: Unity was built from the ground upwards with a lot of reinventions concerning the systems which were behind it. It is a game that takes advantage of the hardware which is being used for it. What Ubisoft wanted to do as well was to make a game for the players who have not yet made the transition. At the present, the developers have not yet talked about porting the Rogue version to PC or Wii U. the plot for Assasin's Creed: Rogue is on Shay Patrick Cormac as he hunts down his former brothers in the arctic, New York City and even the Appalachian River Valley. The former assassin turned Templar now has access to better weapons including grenade launchers, as well as air rifles.
The setting for the game is based on Shay Patrick Cormac, who was a member of an assassin brotherhood and he goes through a transformation which changes everything. There is a mission that goes horribly wrong and his brothers try to kill him, but they fail. He puts everything aside and sets on a mission to hunt down and kill all of his brothers making him the most feared assassin hunter in history.
