Dragon Age Inquisition Release Date 2014, Reveals, Rumors and Plot: Material Based System Feature on the New Game for Weapons Formation
Dragon Age: Inquisition is the third game in the popular role playing series. Bioware which is the game's developer originally gave the release date for the game as October 7th; however, they pushed the date of launch to November 18th this year. The game is going to be available on PS3, PS4, X Box One, and X Box 360 as well as PC modes. During an interview, Mike Laidlaw who is the creative director for the game stated that the players now have the ability to choose the materials that make up their weapons. The game features crafting for weapons on a level that is unprecedented. It is a material based system where if the player finds iron, they will be able to make a sword. On the other hand, if they were to find something more valuable such as silver-rite, they will be able to make a much nicer sword and the story goes on as such.
As for the plot, like the previous dragon age games, the action will begin on the land when a huge cosmic event causes a lot of turbulence on the land. This is where the player has to make sense of the chaotic environment and eventually become a hero.
The player will have the role of inquisitor and this means he will be able to choose his character from several different races. The inquisitor has a definitive role to play in an all out war between the mages as well as the templars. Luke Kristjanson who is a writer on the Dragon Age official website stated that it is essential to give the villains flaws which even they understand. Apparently, it plays into giving a realistic sense of what is going on because they will be able to defend themselves according to a higher awareness which is more challenging to the players on the overall. After all, the story is from the hero's perspective and one has to account for the villains perspective from the hero's view point.
