Shadow Warrior Game News, Reveals, Plot and Gameplay: Release Date Delayed to October to Refine on Console Dynamics

Bandai Namco has announced that the release date for the classic first person shooter game has been delayed from the original release date which was slated for September 26^th to October this year. The game is going to be available for PS4 as well as X Box One. Flying Wild Hog which is the developer responsible for the Shadow Warrior Reboot stated that they have been focusing on the controller inputs and response concerning the play testing sequences. As such, they admit that they needed the extra time in order to refine the game play further for release to provide players with the best e experience possible considering all the investment set into the design.

Flying Wild Hog stated "Bringing Shadow Warrior to PS4 and XB1 has proven to be a challenge for us as we want to make sure the player experience is perfect." They recognized that they needed much more time in order to improve this as Shadow Warrior. This is probably to do with the fact that Shadow Warrior is a classic first person shooter and this aspect demands a certain level of perfection. This translates into the small delay by the developers in providing the market with the latest release of the game.

Apparently the game made a comeback on PC last year and received a lot of positive reviews at the time. This is probably the cue that the developers needed to create a PS4, and X Box One version of the installment especially since it was made after the classic created in 1997. This time the console version is reported to benefit from improved visuals as well as new items and game modes. There was a trailer of the game which displays the console game play version and it is impressive to say the least.
