iZombie News, Reveals, Review and Plot: New Show Featuring Conscious Zombies to hit CW
Do you know what we really need more of? Shows about Zombies, Zombies have come a really long way since night of the living dead. Between World War Z and The Walking Dead, Zombies have become more and more interesting. CW being the television geniuses that they are, have decided to tell this story from a different perspective, one that is never taken into consideration. The series is based on a DC comic book of the same name written by Chris Roberson and Michael Alfred. Seeing the potential success of the series Rob Thomas Writer and creator of 90210 and Veronica Mars and Dianne Ruggiero who has worked on Big Shots decided to make the show a reality.
We start with our boisterous and over achieving heroine, Olivia Moore, in her resident year in med school. Everything is going just right for Olivia until she attends a party that turns into a Zombie feeding frenzy where she is turned into a Zombie herself. Most series would end it here and Mishone would come in and cut her arms off but no, this is where it all begins. In this series Zombies have evolved and have feelings and thoughts too. Our heroine now finds herself perpetually exhausted, severely pale and always hungry for grey matter, so what does she do? She becomes an exhausted goth chic who takes a job at the Coroner's office. At her new job she has all the Jane and John Doe brains she can eat. Her boss finds out she's been stealing brains and like a true scientist is fascinated by the scientific implications. End of story right? Wrong! With every brain she eats Liv retains some of the person's memories which lead her down the crime solving path.
Judging from the plot, CW has a winner on their hands. Rose McIver known for her work in Once Upon A Time as Tinker Bell shall be taking up the role of our Heroine; Liv Moore. Other actors on the cast include David Anders, Malcolm Goodwin, Rober Buckley, Aly Michalka and Rahul Kohli. A premiere date is yet to be released.
