'Bones' Season 10 Spoilers: ‘Sweets’ Death Isn’t The End!
"Bones" Season 10 Spoilers: "Sweets" Death Isn't The End!
"Bones" has returned to Fox to launch its 10th season. Fans can still clearly remember that in the previous season's finale, the character "Booth" played by David Boreanaz was framed-up for the deaths of 3 FBI agents, who in reality were rangers of the Delta Force sent to kill him.
The show's executive producers Jonathan Collier and Stephen Nathan, dropped plenty of cues in an interview conducted before the 10th season premiered. Here are some of the highlights, let's see if all of these came up:
- Booth will be in jail for murder charges. He will be waiting for the trial with regards to the death of the 3 FBI agents.
- One Jeffersonian staff member will see a light in the midst of this: Hodgins realized that his "conspiracy-theory" isn't a crazy idea after all.
- Booth will deal with both the legal and psychological implications of his actions. According to Collier, "Booth will find it very difficult to deal with life's burdens, especially with this career."
- Though an arrest was made in the previous season's finale, some sort of victory is about to happen. 'Booth' will impede the work of the person orchestrating the conspiracy.
- Conspiracies will continue throughout the 10th season.
- Brennan and Booth will fight the odds together, still.
The new season started with Booth inside the prison cells locked up together with several men he's helped put away. Even before the opening credits rolled up, Booth was already involved in 2 prison fights.
All fans were shocked to see a beloved character die on the show's premiere. Lance Sweets, which is played by John Daley, is the show's first regular character to meet death. The event came-in as a double shock since fans have always loved his relationship with former partner Daisy, a character played by Carla Gallo, who revealed that she's carrying his child.
Stephen Nathan, the show's show runner, said that it was better for Sweet to exit through an emotionally heavier scene than prompt him to appear in small scenes every now and then.
Sweet's death showed how confident Bones' producers and writers were to the show's director to still achieve the success they've been reaping through the years. Though the character's death was one of the darkest options to go with in opening the 10th season, the whole team has promised to bring back the romantic comedy tone as they establish the needed momentum for their 200th episode.
