Chris Tomlin, known to the world as one of the most popular praise and worship artists of the 21st century, was born Christopher Dwayne Tomlin on May 4, 1972 in Grand Saline, Texas.

Signed to sixstepsrecord/EMI, Tomlin is a fixture at Passion events.

Married to Lauren Bricken in 2010, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ashlyn Alexandra, on September 22, 2011.
