Apple brought their newest operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users on Sept.17.  As expected, it offers a lot of new features, much more compared to any of their previous models. The new phones come with the new OS too, promising a top-notch user experience. However, those without the new phones can update their devices to the latest OS too.  But if you own an Apple device that should be updated in its latest version, think twice because there are certain things that you should know first about the iOS 8. 

First of all, the update requires a stunning 5.8 GB storage that would mean one has to delete tons of photos, apps, music and movies. The first day that the new OS has been rolled out, users have complained about this bit incessantly. But this is not the only issue that a user faces. There are also reports stating server errors and the failure to restore iTunes in their iPhone or iPads.

On Sept.9, Apple announced that the new operating system will be released on Sept.17.  And the company right away updated the operating system to its newer devices that include- iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4s, iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina Display, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini, and iPod touch fifth-generation.  

iOS 8 offers a whole new features including enhanced iMessaging, photos, calendar, accessibility, Face Time Audio and more. The upgrade brings a total of more than 100 updates for Apple users. Aside from installment problems however, users also experienced a lot of problems as well when the OS has already been updated.

Users who had it on their devices reported complaints on the operating system.  Apple faces tons of iOS 8 problems to deal with from failed updates, storage issues to long download times.  The problems don't only plagued owners of new devices. iPad mini and Retina users also face issues regarding their bad wi-fi connection.

iPad mini users also complained about having their gadget getting slow while iPad2 owners face performance problems after the upgrade. Apple is not unaware of these issues. Apple's forums have been giving out solutions for the common iOS 8 problems after the update.  If the tips do not work, one could also try refreshing his or devices for a new installation.
