The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 6 Recap and Episode 7 Spoilers

The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 6 Recap and Episode 7 Spoilers The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 6 titled 'The Expedition Approximation' did not fail to hurt our stomachs from laughing once again. In the episode, we follow Sheldon and Raj’s attempt to live on the underground steam tunnels of the university in preparation for their scientific expedition. It’s obvious that the two will not last long in the confined space and watching them try their best to do so had been quite a tale to tell. TVFanatic shared how it was a good thing that Raj was able to stand up and express his disappointment with Sheldon. Of course, the latter’s response was once again a bit insensitive as he continues to fail at seeing through human emotions. Despite this fact, the gang will always be there for Sheldon, which is what we expect Raj to do as well. Moving on to other episodes of the show, we have Penny and Leonard becoming more and more of an engaged couple. Penny was given a company car, and thus sold the one Leonard gave to her without talking to him first. She gave the money to Leonard though and was really sweet when she surprised him about the pink puffy frame with the picture of them in the car that Leonard bought. Watching Penny matures and become more responsible is something we really enjoyed watching. We are looking forward to more crazy adventures from the gang on the next episode of The Big Bang Theory, catch them on CBS every week.

NCIS: New Orleans Episode 6 Spoilers, Plus What to Expect on November Episodes This coming October 30, prepare yourself for a murder mystery to come your way on NCIS: New Orleans’ Halloween special episode. The title of the upcoming episode ‘Master of Horror’ already gives us creeps but we wonder just how horrifying of a case the crew will be getting themselves into. According to TVGuide, the episode is about a Naval staff judge advocate who was murdered during Halloween. The victim was found on a cemetery dressed in a Victorian costume with vampiric puncture wounds on her neck. Could we be looking at a supernatural suspect, or is this a ploy of the culprit to get the guys off guard. So what else can we look forward to in the series? Aside from the vampire murder case, we had received reports that the show will be staging in a Quantum Leap reunion with Dean Stockwell this coming November. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? He was confronted for murder to which he pushed the investigators back by using the law against them. Aside from that, Hamilton is also the father of the Councilman Douglas Hamilton played by recurring guest-star Steven Weber. Is Tom Hamilton the culprit or could he just be covering up for someone? We will have to wait to find out. Gary Glasberg, NCIS: New Orleans executive producer is really happy with having found an opportunity to bring Stockwell in the series. Catch NCIS: New Orleans every Tuesday at 9PM on CBS.

Vizio P-Series 4K TV, Great Technology and Great Price, the Secrets Behind Vizio’s Remarkable Cost-Cutting Design, Release & Price Updates

Vizio P-Series 4K TV, Great Technology and Great Price, the Secrets Behind Vizio’s Remarkable Cost-Cutting Design, Release & Price Updates Vizio P-Series 4K TV is creating a buzz nowadays for a good reason: great technological features with a good price. Vizio 4K TV series comes with a Full-Array LED backlighting that produces their superior picture quality; Instead of placing around the edges, the entire back of the display is covered in arrays of LEDs, divided into dozens of independent lighting zones. These create the illumination or darkness for optimal color brilliance, and the TV is able to adjust the level of backlight in any area dramatically, which produces the deeper blacks. The pictures they create are definitely crisp, clear, and detailed. What they did to cut the cost of their P-series is that Vizio’s design team came up with a backlighting design that allows the whole P-series system to use 40% less parts than the company’s competitors. Their backlight design did not only cut the price, but also improved the picture quality. On top of that, Vizio also creates and manufactures their own six-core chips for the TVs, which only cuts down their costs even further. As for the remarkable prices, the 50-inch model only costs $999, and this is only the smallest of the 4K TV lineup. The largest 70-inch model only costs $2,499. Compared to all the other similar models out there, the Vizio company offers the best of prices. Great display with a great price: Vizio is surely making a good competition against other leading companies like Samsung and Sony. It’s going to be challenging for competitors to justify their higher prices while Vizio is offering exactly what the customers are looking for anyway. Perhaps the lacking 3D playback support in Vizio’s P-series might be the only advantage the other companies have over this one, but that’s going to be a hard sell. For now, Vizio P-Series 4K TV are available for pre-order at their website, and later they will be available through Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

  • MacBook Air 2014
MacBook Air Users Expected Retina Display for 2014, No Update during Apple Event, Here’s Why

MacBook Air Users Expected Retina Display for 2014, No Update during Apple Event, Here’s Why MacBook Air fans were probably waiting for news regarding their Mac Air during the Apple event on October 16. Unfortunately, no news or whatsoever regarding the Mac Air came up during the event. There were rumors that the MacBook Air might get an update, as in the Retina-display, just like the other Apple devices that were announced in the Apple event. The rumor started with Digitimes stating, “Shipments of a new MacBook Air, reportedly equipped with a 12-inch Retina screen, have begun in small volumes…Apple is set to host an event on October 16 where it is expected to unveil new iPads and the new 12-inch MacBook air, the sources added.” Naturally, Mac Air users started hoping that the rumor is true, but to their disappointment, it wasn’t, and there seems to be a pretty good explanation as to why this is the case, or why it’s going to be challenging for Apple to add the Retina-display update to their MacBook Air series without compromising the best features of the Air laptop. Those who opt for the MacBook Air series are usually after these features: light, thin, with good battery life. It targets students and professionals who need a portable but powerful device, that are also reliable enough to stay powered-on without the repetitive charging for the busiest of days. According to Engadget, packing the Retina-display will compromise the laptop’s battery life: “Stuffing more pixels into an LCD typically requires not just stronger backlights (since there's less light reaching each pixel), but also graphics processing powerful enough to draw all that extra content”. The source continues to explain in detail, also stating that the MacBook Pro line already had the Retina-display since two years ago, but that it came with a thicker chassis to support its bigger battery and faster processor. Yet, as stated earlier, MacBook Air isn’t about all that. Since Air series have to embody a “low-power display and a quick-yet-efficient processor into a very slim, affordable machine”, the Macbook might not be an Air anymore if the Retina-display technology is stuffed into it. Read on the rest from Engadget to get the detailed explanation. For now, the Retina-display is not going to come easy for the MacBook Air users. Apple will have to make a lot of changes and improvements with the Air hardware to make the Retina-display possible, without compromising the features that the Air stands for. What do you think? Do we Air users really need the Retina-display?

Bloodborne PS4 Update: PlayStation Head Executive Scott Rohde on Bloodborne Visuals, Bloodborne Release Date, Plot, Gameplay and Review

Bloodborne PS4 Update: PlayStation Head Executive Scott Rohde on Bloodborne Visuals, Bloodborne Release Date, Plot, Gameplay and Review The Bloodborne game is set for a release date on February 6, 2015. The game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, is already known for directing other popular video games such as the “Demon’s Souls” and the “Dark Souls”. Just recently, the PlayStation’s head executive Scott Rohde commented on the visuals of the upcoming Bloodborne game: "The way it looks; just off the charts to me. It has, I've said this before ... there's a certain, like, wetness to that game. I don't know what other word to use. It just feels like everything is dripping and oozing with whatever it is--it's water, it's blood, it's whatever it is; and it just looks gorgeous." As for the gameplay, compared to Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls, the Bloodborne has a totally different gameplay; the combat is faster and focuses greatly on the offensive role. The player can also move more freely than the other two mentioned video games. The game is also unique in the sense that the player can regain a portion of his health by striking back at enemies. As for the game plot, the Bloodborne revolves around a ruined city of Yharnam. Many travelers have gone to the city to seek for a potent medical remedy, and a game player takes the role as one of these travelers. However, the twist of the game is that, once you arrive to Yharnam, you realize that the city is full of bestial creatures, plagued by a certain illness that turned citizens into such creatures. Your main goal: to survive amidst these horrifying creatures. Around a week ago, the game was made available for Alpha testing, and one of the testers uploaded his gameplay video. How was it? The upcoming Bloodborne game is “downright terrifying”.

Alien: Isolation 2014: Survival Tip, Plot, and Review of the New Alien Game

Alien: Isolation 2014: Survival Tip, Plot, and Review of the New Alien Game Sega released their new survival horror stealth game, Alien: Isolation, on October 7 this year. The new Alien game is available for consoles PlayStation3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It’s also available for Microsoft Windows Users. The game plot revolves around Amanda, who is looking for her lost Mother. To find a flight recorder of Nostromo, Amanda is sent to Sevastopol – a space station. She later discovers that the station was attacked by an Alien, killing most of the crew at the station. Most of you are familiar with the action packed version of Alien by James Cameron, but unlike other Alien game adaptations, Alien: Isolation deals with a single Alien that’s hard to kill, so players must survive through stealth, rather than through combat. So, to survive, make sure you save the game all the time. That also means you have to know all your saving points in the game. It’s all worth it. Even when you just found new items or did something new in the course of the game, save again. The challenging part of saving is that it takes few minutes before a saving point can be used again. So you can do something to hide while you’re waiting for the saving point to come back on. It’s worth it. You can easily get strangled, eaten or shot in the game. So far, the game has been receiving good reviews. Den of Geek stated, “Isolation is made with a captivating attention to detail and what feels like a genuine affection of the original film. In fact, it could even be argued that some of its ideas could have been made into an effective cinematic sequel”.

Far Cry 4 Soon in Stores, Exclusive Content Available for Those Who Pre-Order Now

Far Cry 4 Soon in Stores, Exclusive Content Available for Those Who Pre-Order Now Ubisoft’s sequel to the #1 rated first-person shooter game of 2012, Far Cry 4, release date is November 18, 2014. It will be available for thePS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms. For the Far Cry 4 PC version, the minimum Far Cry 4 system requirements include a Core2Duo 2.66 GHz CPU, an ATI 2600XT 512MB VRAM (GeForce 8600GT) VGA, DirectX 9.0C or later, 2 GB of RAM, 15 GB of available hard drive space, and a Windows XP or newer OS. A Limited Edition, which includes the "Hurk's Redemption" downloadable content pack, will be offered to those who will pre-order the game from the publisher’s site. There will also be available a standard Kyrat Edition, which will include a statue of Pagan Min, a map of Kyrat, a propaganda poster, a journal and a collector’s box, as well the "Hurk's Redemption" downloadable content pack, and an Ultimate Kyrat Edition, which includes everything from the standard Kyrat Edition plus a steelbook and Season pass. While Far Cry 3 was set in the tropics, the Far Cry 4 gameplay will be taking place in Kyrat, a wild, untamed but extremely beautiful region up in the Himalayas. Also, Far Cry 4 will take much longer to complete than its predecessor. According to narrative director Mark Thompson in an interview with IGN, “"Because we know the game can take people anywhere between 15 and 60 hours to complete, we didn't want people just to see Pagan Min [the despotic ruler of the place] everywhere. We wanted the world to feel like it was owned by someone, we wanted you to feel Pagan Min everywhere. But, specifically, region to region, we have a different character who owns it, and that kind of colors the outposts, the side-quests, the specific characters and personalities.” Heralding the game’s arrival in stores, there is now a Far Cry 4 trailer showing on Youtube and other video hosting sites. There is also a dedicated Far Cry 4 wiki where those interested can look up the storyline for Ajay Ghale, who is the main Far Cry 4 protagonist, as well as for Pagan Min and the other Far Cry 4 characters. To enable users across different platforms to better appreciate the depth of the Far Cry 4 world, Ubisoft until now is still tweaking with the graphical settings of the game. As revealed by a Ubisoft representative to Game Spot, “With more than a month left until the Far Cry 4 launch, the team continues to maximize the gameplay experience across all consoles, and PC. We have not yet locked the resolution as yet, but, as Alex Hutchinson notes, we are aiming for 1080p on all platforms, including PC (depending on the computer you have). We look forward to introducing fans to the world of Kyrat!”

  • Dead Island 2
Dead Island 2: Despite Similarity, Jack Black is Not in the Zombie Shooter Game

Dead Island 2: Despite Similarity, Jack Black is Not in the Zombie Shooter Game Dead Island 2 release date is sometime in spring 2015 according to game publisher Deep Silver during Sony's E3 news conference back in June. During the conference, a Dead Island 2 trailer was shown to promote the upcoming role-playing, first-person shooter, survival horror video game. We're cool and kick-ass.” Incidentally, in the teaser footage for Dead Island 2, Jack Black is not the voice actor who may be heard towards the end. Black himself said at a live Reddit AMA forum that “I can definitely guarantee that’s a Jack Black impersonator. It sounds like the dude that plays me in the Kung Fu Panda TV show.” The Dead Island 2 gameplay takes place several months after the events on Banoi, with the United States military having placed the state of California under full quarantine. Now a restricted zone, California has become a bloody paradise for those who refuse to leave their homes and an action-packed playground for renegades who seek adventure, glory and a fresh start, according to Deep Silver. “Combining the classic Dead Island elements of immersive close combat, action and role-playing,” The upcoming zombie apocalypse-themed video game features crazy, never-before-seen handcrafted weapons and over-the-top Dead Island 2 characters, it adds. Developed in Unreal Engine 4 by Yager, Dead Island 2 will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox. The Dead Island 2 release date for PC will also be the same as for the game console versions. For PC, the minimum Dead Island 2 system requirements include a Core2Duo 2.66 GHz CPU, an ATI 2600XT 512MB VRAM (GeForce 8600GT) VGA, DirectX 9.0C or later, 1 GB of RAM, 15 GB of available hard drive space, and a Windows XP or newer OS.
