Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft for Smartphones, Out In Market Early 2015

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft for Smartphones, Out In Market Early 2015 Blizzard Entertainment’s free-to-play Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft digital collectible card game is slated for release for the smartphone mobile operating system platforms by the beginning of 2015 according to the developer. “We’re also close to having Hearthstone out to our iPhone and Android phone users,” said Blizzard at the Heartside Chat blog site, “but it’s become clear that we need a little more time to get that version right. While we have a build up and running internally, it needs a bit more work, and we don’t feel like we’ll be ready to share it with you until early next year.” Heartstone: Heroes of Warcraft was officially released in March 2014. The game is now available on the Microsoft Windows and OS X operating systems as well as on the iPad and Windows 8 Touch devices. Before the year ends, it will also be playable on the Android tablet platform. However, the developer needs more time to come up with a stable smartphone version of the game. “Releasing Hearthstone on iPhone and Android phones is something we’re incredibly excited about, but ultimately we’d rather take the extra time to make Hearthstone’s user interface on the phone customized to feel great for the platform, rather than a port that doesn’t take into account the limitations of a smaller screen,” said Blizzard. According to the developer, ““It’s very important to us that the phone experience for Hearthstone is just as accessible as the tablet and PC versions. One of the biggest challenges with that is revamping the user interface so it feels intuitive and offers the same quality Hearthstone experience, but this time from the palm of your hand.” The free-to-play card game now has already amassed 20 million players. Last month, Hearthstone got its first expansion, called ‘Curse of Naxxramas,’ which adds 30 new cards. At this point Blizzard is also getting ready for its next expansion of the game, which will entail the addition of over 100 new cards that will be available in a new type of card pack.

Mass Effect 4: No More Commander Shepard But there Will Still Be The Krogans

Mass Effect 4: No More Commander Shepard But there Will Still Be The Krogans BioWare’s Mass Effect “4” release date is still “years away,” said game producer Mike Gamble during July’s San Diego Comic-Con according to a report by Trusted Reviews. This is so because the company will be focusing most of its resources first on putting the finishing touches on their Dragon Age: Inquisition game which is scheduled for release on November 18. Following that, they can fully commit what they have come 2015 to begin work on ‘Mass Effect 4.’ As of now, ‘Mass Effect 4’ may not even be halfway through in its development according to studio director Yanick Roy, as reported by Game Debate. In any event, the ‘Mass Effect 4’ system requirement will likely be the same as that for Dragon Age: Inquisition and will likely also be available on the Microsoft Windows PC, Play Stations 3 and 4 as well as Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms. Incidentally, although ‘Mass Effect 4’ will continue to be used as the working title of the upcoming video game project, it was clarified that the upcoming game will have nothing to do with the Commander Shepard story line that already conclusively ended with Mass Effect 3 in 2012. In Mass Effect 4, Shepard won’t likely even be referenced to. Based on an informal Mass Effect 4 survey, it was apparently gathered that most fans want BioWare to take the series to somewhere new and to begin moving forward with a fresh set of characters and a new storyline. Hence, the upcoming game will be the start of an entirely brand new serialized plot in the Mass Effect universe. In the Mass Effect 4 trailer shown at the Comic-Con, and still accessible from the web, former executive producer Casey Hudson revealed some possible prototypes for both the setting, the new region of the galaxy where the action will take place, as well as the new characters, albeit they were wearing armors so there’s no indication of their race nor gender, that may be featured in the next BioWare ‘Mass Effect’ franchise series. Despite the changes, Roy via Twitter promises that Mass Effect 4 will continue to be “the same type of game as the first three” Mass Effect games in terms of genre and ways of playing. At July’s E3 convention, BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn also acknowledged that there are "definitely returning races. It's Mass Effect, so it wouldn't be a Mass Effect game without the Krogans."

Game creator and director Tetsuya Nomura in an interview with Famitsu [as translated by Gematsu] said that “Right now, we’re doing the scenario writing and world selection. I’m also making the new outfits for Sora and Riku.” In any event, it’s already nown that Kingdom Hearts III takes place immediately after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance – with Riku and Sora having just completed their Mark of Mastery exams, but with Sora failing to be recognized as a Keyblade Master. The latest Kingdom Hearts 3 news has it that Sora will remain as the game’s lead protagonist and that it will continue to feature Donald Duck, Goofy, King Mickey and Riku as his main supporting cast. However, Sora and Riku, after having become Keyblade Masters in the previous “Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance” game, now will have the ability to change the shape of their Keyblades. According to game creator Nomura, as reported by Kotaku, the main crux of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 will be Sora’s final confrontation with Master Xehanort, the series’ main villain. Interestingly, according to Kdrama Stars, co-creator Tai Yasue reportedly hinted during an interview with NovaCystallis that for Kingdom Hearts 3, ‘Frozen,’ ‘Star Wars’ and even ‘Marvel’ characters might also be included in the story line for the upcoming game. Kingdom Hearts 3 is the eighth installment in the Kingdom Heart series, which began with the release of ‘Kingdom Hearts’ in 2002, followed by ‘Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories’ in 2004, then by ‘Kingdom Hearts II’ in 2005, then by ‘Kingdom Hearts coded’ in 2008, then by ‘Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep’ in 2010, and finally, ‘Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance’ in 2012. There are already Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers footage on IGN’s Official Kingdom Hearts 3 wiki page for those interested. According to the wiki, Nomura in an interview with the Japanese language site Famitsu said: “We're proceeding along with which worlds we'll be selecting for the game. It's the final episode in the 'Dark Seeker' saga that began with the original Kingdom Hearts, and it'll depict the final battle with Xehanort."

It's like all of the best experiences they've had before.” For previews and more about the game, fans can visit IGN’s Official Lords of the Fallen Wiki Guide. The game’s title refers to an evil god and its host of demons who was defeated and buried by humanity 1,000 years ago. This victory led humanity to pursue a belief that evil can be entirely eliminated. As a result, a religion of purity was born that harshly defines sin, banishes those who partake in evil activities, and marks them with tattoos for their transgressions. The Lords of the Fallen gameplay story begins when the demons begin to re-emerge. Humanity looks to Harkin, a human who has been tattooed more than any other. They believe he has the ability to defeat evil again because of his long history of sin. At game start, players can select whether Harkin will be rogue, cleric, or warrior to dictate the path of his spell trees.

NBA Trade Rumors: Will Bynum, Likely To Be Waived By Celtics This Weekend

NBA Trade Rumors: Will Bynum, Likely To Be Waived By Celtics This Weekend Boston Celtics president of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge and Mark Bartelstein, the agent for former Detroit Pistons Will Bynum, continue to work today to find a destination for the veteran point guard that might also bring the Celtics something of value in return according to Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald. “We’re trying to see if there is something we can do,” Bartelstein reportedly said. Bynum was acquired Friday by Boston from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for center Joel Anthony for “cost saving” reasons rather than anything else according to NBC Sports. Boston traded Anthony’s expiring $3.8 million deal for Bynum’s $2.9 million deal. The $900,000 difference pushes the Celtics approximately $2.2 million below the luxury tax line, according to the Boston Globe. Boston has 16 players with guaranteed contracts for this season, in excess of the league maximum number of 15 roster spots. Bynum will likely be waived by the end of the week, more so if the Celtics can also get an asset in return for him. Ainge will have to waive a player with a guaranteed deal or make a trade to reduce before the season theOctober 29 season opening game against the Brooklyn Nets. As of now, Bynum has neither been asked to stay away from Celtics training camp nor does he refuse to attend, according to his agent. Bartelstein said that the 31-year-old ex-Detroit point guard has already recovered from a strained hamstring that kept him out of preseason games for the Pistons prior to last week's Joel Anthony trade, and is ready to resume workouts for either the Celtics or another team. Bynum, he said, is currently working out in his hometown of Chicago. NBA sources according to the Boston Globe, said the Celtics are already content with Rajon Rondo, Marcus Smart, and Phil Pressey in their point guard lineup, leaving Bynum out of the equation.

  • Josh Smith
NBA Trade Rumors: Josh Smith Staying With Detroit Pistons After All

NBA Trade Rumors: Josh Smith Staying With Detroit Pistons After All Josh Smith, despite rumors to the contrary, will be staying with Detroit this season. “Contract value aside… sure. Josh gets a lot of heat because of his shot selection, but he is still one of the top 75 or so players in the league. I think it always comes down to what do you have to give up to get him,” says Basketball Insiders’ Steve Kyler, but “I want to be clear the Pistons are not shopping Josh. In fact they are hoping to get a more efficient Josh this season.” The 28-year-old Smith signed on a reported four-year $54 million deal with the Detroit Pistons July 10 last year. Stan Van Gundy, head coach and president of the Detroit Pistons, has a lot of respect for Smith according to Detroit News. Said he: “I think he's working hard. He's trying to really step up defensively and take some leadership. Even more so today, made some really good passes. He's getting back down the floor, trying to do the things we want done. People notice those things." However, the head coach has some reservations about the power forward’s present shot selection. According to the Detroit Free Press, Van Gundy said: “I think Josh has a very good understanding of the shots he needs to shoot that are not only best for him, but best for our team. He's one of the elite guys in the league around the basket. Last year, stuff inside, right at the rim, in two straight years, he has been 71% and 77%. There's very few guys at that level. So he needs to get more of those. He knows that. He also understands he really doesn't need to shoot threes for this team.” Smith last year shot 265 3-pointers, or 3.4 per game, with an average 26.4% conversion rate. So basically, Van Gundy wants Smith to play near the basket where he excels offensively and defensively, and take fewer jump shots where he may not be so great. Van Gundy told the Detroit Free Press that he and Smith already had a good talk this weekend. He said that Smith “has an understanding of how he needs to play for our team; it's the discipline to do it. He's a smart guy. He knows and he's not trying to fight you about anything.... What I understand and he understands (is) that's habit that has been built over time. It's not going to change tomorrow. I have to stay on him, and he understands I have to stay on him.”

E FUN Nextbook Tablet Price and Release Date: Price is at $179 and Will Be Available at Walmart Stores Today! Today is the day that the E FUN Nextbook tablet is shipped to Walmart Stores. The device is pegged at a low, low price of $179. And this is a great initiative that Windows and Intel had conceptualized as it clearly is an affordable answer to the high end devices available. According to PC World, the E FUN Nextbook tablet specs includes: a Windows 8.1 OS, a 1,280x800-pixel IPS display that measures 10.1 inches, 2GB of storage, plus a microSD slot that can extend that to an additional 64GB with external storage, 802.11b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, and mini HDMI. The camera, on the other hand, sports off a 0.3MP front facing and 2MP at the back. But, it does not stop there as the E FUN Nextbook tablet is pre-loaded with a one-year free subscription to Office 365 Personal plus 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage, and 60 Skype world minutes per month, all coming from the tech giant, Microsoft. And it also includes the Nook App and a POGO keyboard that doubles as a hard protective casing. Now, the question would come to the performance as the tablet only exudes 1GB of RAM and if it will have the ability to multitask given the RAM it has. Majority of the tablets nowadays are Android powered and Intel CEO, Brian Krzanich, had said that the fastest-growing tablet segment was right around the $150 range, which could refer to Android devices. However, Intel’s chips can rule both Windows and Android devices which allows Microsoft to follow in on Andoid’s achievement.
